What is the best channel to maintain a cat from using a doggie door?
Our dog uses his doggie door to go out in the yard and play or use the bathroom. But the cat have started going out too, and she brought in a live mouse today! Yuck!
How do I keep the door available for my dog, but not my cat?
Use double sided cartridge on the ground in a large enough slot the cat will have to step on it. Their fur will get stuck to it enough they will be irritated and not use that door. Or gain a spray water bottle and when the cat goes near the doggie door spray her in the past she leaves.
well your going to hold to taim it but an easier way is to watch your cat for a while and if you see it going out of the door economically maybe grab it but you can also try to get her used to going out the leading door or the backyard door itself so if this dosnt help you well you may aswell cheeck the internet for taiming.
Put cassette on the bottom of it's feet. I don't know if that will stop it from going out the doggie door but it is very funny to keep watch on.
when your dog is not using the doggie door put a cover over it and when he is have the cat in a room with the door closed but provide lots of toys and some treats
