Why did this cat do what it did?
Me and three of my friends were sitting on the side walk in a straight row. i was on one end and my friend matt was on the other completion. a cat walked up to us on matts side and he tried to get the cats attention. then the cat walk away and snuck up on my friend sitting next to matt, then it slowly walk over to me and rubed up against my back and meowed...
My question is why did that cat ignore everyone but me, i aim it walked up to me, rubed up against my back and meowed trying to be all cute. im prety certain it was a girl cat but does that mean im gay cuz cats are walking up to me or does that suggest im the sexy one out of the group lol
You have a "cat scan" and the result is that you're gay! Now suck it up, build a bridge and get over it.
Lets not get too conceited now...lol no, the cat does not presume your sexy.
you probably had a smell on you that it liked. no i dont mean it like your smell so it fell in love with you, i mean the smell attracted the kitty and he or she be asking for food. good luck
In cats language it happens to be rude to engineer eye contact there fore they go to people who don't be paid eye contact.
Maybe the cat smelled something on your "person" that she liked...cologne, deodorant, detergent, etc.
Maybe the other guys just didn't "appeal" to her!
well do you not like cats? I other hear stories of friends visiting that don't like cats and of course within is a cat in the home and the cat won't leave that human being alone and will sit on their lap. its funny
Cats like those who ignore them. If you blinked and looked away, that's cat gesture for individual polite.
Answers: cats and dogs both can sense fear as well as ur stress level. Cats can get the impression if ur relaxed or not and tend to go around people who aren,t stressed, because they dont want to be all ruffed up.
Sometimes it takes a minute for a cat to warm up to being pet, particularly by strangers, she might've just decided to be pet and you were the first one she saw. You also may smell well-mannered to her, some people's scents drive my cats crazy, like claw their way up your leg crazy, and some associates don't bug them at all. Maybe you were chewing mint gum or your friends smelled like their pets or something.
repress: Emmalyz is right, cat's don't always like getting attention even when they want attention! My friend's cat, you're not allowed to look at him AT ALL if not he'll run away. Cats are just all odd. I love 'em.
