Why does my kitten attack..?

...if he's actually purring ? He just comes and sits within my lap and bites if I try to stroke him..
What does purring mean ? He purrs remarkably loudly, I'm so confused isn't that a sign of fondness ?.. :S
kittens do this ALOT
they love to rough play
and yes purring is a cheery sign
he will grow out of thie eventually don't worry

Yeah purring process the cats happy and settled. Kittens are very very playful and wallow in playing and biting so if shes purring and fighting at the same time is because shes glad and relaxed with you :-))
Answers:    Hahaha yeah so does my cat ;P

I think he is either being playful and so that will net sence when he is purring and stuff... BUT my cat has this different purr, it's like louder and more tiger-like and I think it medium she is REALLY annoyed, OR really playfull in a sinister way, like she is pretending she wishes to play but secretly trying to murder me... can cats murder?? :S anyways... lmao she does it when her tail goes snakey as well sometimes... I reflect I heard somewhere cats have a different type or purring but I can't be sure, I will research it ^_^

So yeah he any is very happy and just requests to play or cats have two different purrs :)

Okay I did some research and it I don't think they do, but I did read somewhere "cats purr, mostly when they are happy"... so does that mean they can purr when they are angry too? :S haha sorry ^_^
If you have ever see film of lion or tiger cubs they play fight all the time - it's training for hunting and bloodbath prey. So it's all a game but those teeth are like needles aren't they?
It's a playful gesture :)
your kitten just want to play with u. and he purr when hes really jovial. it best to tried he out by playing with him.
It means he is happy and requests to play with you.
Get a string and move it around.
He'll attack it then and not you.
How do I school my cats to use the Litter box a bit than the floor?   Kitten can cry but not successfully meow...is that a problem?   Is in that any drug you can make available to a cat for torment? Like toddler aspirin, or tylenol?   What does it indicate when my cat lick my foot, and puts his manager on my obverse?
