Why does my kitten enjoy such a... Un cat-like appetite?

So far she has eaten (mostly without me in truth notice) or tried (desperately) to eat pineapple chunks that I picked off a piece of pizza, part of a pickle, dry dog food, fragment of a banana + peel, chips, fries, pudding, onion, cheese (she goes NUTS for cheese, you cannot keep her away) and cheese products (including queso and cheese whiz), rice pudding, a rice dish that my mother make (rice, tomato and other vegetables and hamburger), spaghetti, sunflower seeds, rat food + treats, liquorice... Pretty much if you are eating something or one of my other pets is later she wants to try it. And she tends to like most of the things that she tries, which is what is weirding me out. I plan I don't feed her anything and everything, but she a kitten. She will either try to get it or out and out steal it. My stepdad think it has something to do with the limited choice contained by food that she had as a barn kitten, but I don't know. She just seems a bit strange. Anyone hold any ideas what's up or has anyone had cats next to similar appetites?
I have a cat to be precise almost 5 years old. He's always eat weird things too. Some of his favorites are: popcorn, spaghetti, bananas, oranges, raspberries, carrots, peaches, etc. I've talked to my vet in the region of it before and he said most human food won't hurt him. But cats shouldn't eat fried foods, chocolate, onions, or garlic. I still feed him cat food, but occasionally will contribute him a little fruit or veggies since he seems to really like them. I hold 2 other cats, one eats mostly meat, but never beef or pork, and the other is usually willing to try fruits once but after he tries it, he won't devour it again. You still have a kitten, so maybe she will out grow it, or at least quiet down a little. Just remember every cat has their own "personality". It probably just seem weird because it's not what you've grown up your whole life knowing a cat should be close to. Hope this helps somewhat :)
She's normal. Cats will eat most things quite ecstatically. Don't let her fill up on the dry dog food though. It doesn't have adequate protein for cats.

I have one that refuses to eat meat, but LOVES broccoli and blueberry muffins. Another is a FIEND for grapes.
Answers:    Some cats are just more willing to try things than others. But yes, some of the things you mentioned can be deadly. Read up and discuss to your vet. Keep anything that can be toxic completely out of reach and never give her very much of anything that isn't intended for her.

I don't think it has to do with human being a barn cat, but you never know.

One of mine loves to try just about anything. Pasta is a favorite and he expects to have some everyday. I individual give him a few pieces, cooked but plain. He eats a high part grain-free food the rest of the time so I don't worry about a little pasta. But he also loves avocado, which can be deathlike, so we have to keep that away from him. He requests to at least get his face surrounded by every possible food he sees. He's lived inside all his life - beside us. His mom was a stray we found. All the other cats can't understand why he eats pasta and fruit, so I expect it's just an individual difference.

...just read your new details - it is tough keeping food absent when they are that determined. That one of ours gets everywhere and is very demanding. We try to train him but it's taking awhile since he's so motivated. Keep trying to make certain that everyone else is as informed as you are on the human foods that aren't safe.
If that doesn't get their attention, tell them in the order of how my bf decided to let one of ours try a little bit of aged cheese and the poor kitty leak poop all over the place until we could get his system back within check.
Yuck!

Also, kitten chow isn't very high quality. Mine guzzle Wellness Core so they don't get by-products and other junk they don't need. At smallest that way when they beg for bits of bread (IDK why, but most of them here love bread), I don't worry in the order of giving them some little pieces.
You really need to be extremely careful of what you let your kitten "steal". Some of the things you mentioned are toxic to them..ONION...garlic in pizza, etc. Go online to peteducation.com and look for "foods to avoid". You'll acquire a list of things that cats shouldn't have. It may save the energy of your kitten, someday!

Also, dog food isn't good for her, either. You need to be feed her KITTEN FOOD...exclusively! The more "other stuff" she eats, the less GOOD NUTRITION she's getting.

Hope you start paying more attention to her health, instead of a short time ago thinking she's "cute" for wanting everyone's food.

I don't mean to lecture, I just discern VERY STRONGLY about protecting the kittens / cats from unhealthy diets..

Good luck.
My cats will chomp through anything I drop on the floor if I let them but they don't seek out those foods. Maybe they feed her food scraps on the barn and that's why she looks for it now.
