Why is my cat limping on his right hip and licking his lower stern?
OK, my cat has had an issue where he lick himself raw on his lower back for about a year very soon. He is now on steroid pills that have prevented his urge to lick. But for a week now, he have been limping and it looks as though his right hip is bothering him. The same hip area he has be licking. Could these be related?
Answers: I am not sure what type of steroids he was put on, but they should also help drop off any inflammation that might be causing a limp. if the problem worsens i would lug you cat back to the vet.
he may have a tick, have you checked?
also (s)he might own a bruised or twisted or broken leg or hip depends on how bad the limp is. This is only the worst i guess
