Why want cats munch through dog food?
Cat's want eat Mitty dog! Dogs don't really like cat food eather, but they will eat it. Why do cats don't approaching dog food? Is there more protein in cat food or some secret ingredient?
I have a kitten that used to try and devour the dogs food. but I think she realized that it was gross but very soon I catch her playing with it like it is a toy. I find little kibbles adjectives over my house it is really cute!
Oh! but they do devour dog food... depends on the cat. Some cats are pickier than others.. but the main reason is, most dogs will eat anything and most dog foods are made near cheaper ingrediants... cat food is made to appeal to cats' sense of smell and taste... keep in intellect, tho cats and dogs live together often, they are two totally differnet species... if u feed a cat more food than they can chomp through and it sits out for a long time they want fresh food bc that food has gotten stale. U wont see mant dogs being that picky!
And the word is "won't" not "want." Two totally differnet things. And it's "Mighty Dog" not "Mitty Dog"
Because it is dog food. However, my cats love my dogs' food, I can't keep 'em out of it!
Cats are natural canivores and need to eat meat (obviously). Cat food is high-ranking in protein for cats who as natural carnivores need a large protein diet. Dog food is lower in protein which wont benefit the cat much at all. :)
not polite, give them the right food
Cat food have a higher protein content than dog food. But dogs usually like cat food and whether the dogs won't eat it I bet the cats won't either. As for cats eating dog food it might be they are lately trying it out.
It's a nutritional thing. A dog can live on cat food and be fine, but a cat can not live on dog food. Cat food have additional minerals in it that they need but dogs don't.
Try eating it yourself and report back to us.
Answers: Cat food is richer, it have more protein and different ingredients. It's not good for dogs to eat it because it's hard on their digestion, and cat's should not munch through dog food because they won't get all the protein they need.
