Will my kittens enjoy to be a funnel on her go before after they obtain fixed?
my 2 kitten are getting fixed (male and female)will they have to were a funnel?and how long??
maybe, you'll have to ask your doctor. whether they do, it's because they will eat it.
It's usually not necessary to collar them after a spay or neuter surgery. If one of them begin to chew at their stitches you may need to, but otherwise it won't be necessary. I've had tons of foster cats through my house and I've single had to collar a couple of them after spay/neuter surgery. Even then it's only be when they've been determined to chew their stitches. Your vet will tell you everything that you need to look out for. Thank you for human being responsible and having your kittens spayed & neutered!
My cat was spayed over a month ago, and she had to wear an e collar for two weeks. I solely left it on for a week and she was fine. The vet told me that not only does he not want her chewing on the nouns, but he doesn't want her to get it wet by licking it. I could stop her from messing with that nouns while I was at home, but during work there be no way for me to make sure, and I did not want to come domestic to find her in any kind of trouble.
um the only common sense the usually have to wear a funnel is because they might bite at the stitches and usually for a week or two it's not for to long my cat only just got fixed and she didn't have to because she has a heart mer-mer and hers get glued from the inside (weird i know) and my other cat actually got stitches and didn't enjoy to wear one
i really hope i helped =)
Answers: She doesn't HAVE to wear a funnel or cone. She will probalby tear it bad as soon as you put it on, mine did. Cats hate it. You could spray this sour stuff for cats around the stitches and the cat will most likely not want to bite or lick at it. Or you could try the cone and see how it works out. I dont know about mannish cats, I only have one female. Good luck! Hope this help :)
no i dont think so adjectives my cats were fixed and i have five.none of them had to wear a funnel on nearby head
It really depends on what vet you use. Some old arts school vets will send you home next to Elizabethan Collars (funnels) and some vets will tell you to watch them closely. The origin for the cones is that sometimes cats will chew on their stitches and cause an infection.
I have a friend who had a moment ago spayed her newly adopted cat. The vet didn't send a cone domestic with her, and the cat actually started chewing her stitches. She ended up buying a tot onesie and making the cat wear it until the stitches were healed. Hah!
Good luck to your kittens! Hope they're up and running after their surgery. :)
yes because they will try to pick at it how long i have no idea
