Will spaying my cat put a stop to her unremitting meowing for attention?

My mom and I have decided we will schedule an appointment to spay our cat Sprinkles(in my avatar), during winter break sometime. She's other going outside and rolling around on our drive way and when she's hungry she meows non stop for like an hour until I procure out of bed to feed her(I can hear her from down the hall). Will this eventually stop or be not as bad once we spay?
Excessive vocalization and rolling can be a sign that your cat is in heat. If she is in warmness she is likely already pregnant. I would take her to your veterinarian AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to find out if she is pregnant.
Regardless of whether she meows constantly or not the safest, most economical (you wont end up w/ more kittens to care for surrounded by the future) and medically responsible thing you can do is to have her spayed asap.
She may just be a dependent talkative cat but spaying her will keep her from going into heat which is when the yowling is the worst.
As to the poster who "have him spayed" that could be "his" problem as male cats are neutered not spayed.
ask your vet .u ask i answer.
That rolling around and lofty annoying meows are attraction signs for male cats. She is in heat, and whether you don't keep her in until the spaying she WILL get pregnant, tallying to the over population of unwanted kittens. Spaying will also prevent mammary gland cancer. You should have the spaying done now.
Answers:    Most of it will stop. But by allowing her outside unspayed, you are risking her getting pregnant whether she is out there without supervision. Please keep her inside until she is spayed.

If she's get a Siamese/Oriental background, they are natural talkers and so she may verbs holding conversations with you.
For one you have a impressively vocal cat, I have one too but he's a male and have been neutered. A female when within heat is very vocal and requests to get out. I was given a male and be told he was younger than what he was and tore up the minnie blinds in the apartment I have at the time and then started marking my work clothes before I could achieve him fixed. This happen in approx. 1 1/2 weeks of having him. I found him a domestic on a farm.
Even after you have her spayed she may still be vocal nearly her feeding even if it is before her feed time. Some days my Sam does it and other days he doesn't.
Yep, because a cat in season is calling for boys. It is unremitting and drives you insane. Furthermore, once she falls pregnant, she is ready for the next lot, before the kittens are weened rotten. Unless you want her to have one litter, you must be careful, because she will be fertile before you know it. Spaying get more difficult after that.

Some cats of course are chatterboxes, but there is a very distinct difference between a cat who chats and one who cries for a 'big' one. LOL
no. but you should spay her. distribute her your attention be gentle and kind towards her. Play with her that should stop the meowing.
the rolling around and crying should stop but probably not the crying for food.
Aw..Your kitty is sooooo cute..I love kitties..
Well probably not..Your kitty is only happy..
I love God's animals.
The meowing for hunger won't stop. If she is hungry, she is hungry. I don't know why you'd lay contained by bed for an hour listening to your poor hungry cat cry.

The rolling around should stop. Sounds like she is in boil. If she is an outdoor or an indoor/outdoor cat, you are risking her getting pregnant even as we speak. (I suggest making her a completely indoor cat anyway for her own safety reason. Plus, it's cold. Letting her outside for long is cruel.) Not sure what your feeling is on abortion, but whether she becomes pregnant, and you spay her, that's exactly what the vet is doing... performing an abortion on the cat.

NO! I have a cat! I've recently get him spayed. It Did'nt work. Hope you don't get the same problem.
no but you should spay her... she will be a nicer cat and whether she tends to pee out of the litter box this will most likely stop. YOU SHOULD NOT LET YOUR CAT OUT! IF UNSPAYED SHE WILL GET PREGNANT
