11 month outdated German Shepherd too fond of servants?
Okay now, my GSD is too fond of the people who work in my house. They trouble him fairly a lot but he still goes to them and sits wherever they are. Also, he sleeps surrounded by the same room they do because my mother doesnt allow him to sleep in my room. What can I do to make certain he doesnt go tot hose bastards and stays with me during the day time ? Please aid me. I dont want him to suffer and Im quite possessive about him too.
You need to keep his interest and loyalty on you. Make certain you feed him yourself, play games with him and give him treat toys to amuse himself. You do entail to walk him and also spend time training him, come, sit, stay, drop. The more mental and physical stimulation he gets, the more attractive you will be.
Be a Pack Leader. A dog is not a possession, and will chose the company in the house that most meets his/her doggy desires. You want that dog to favour spending time with you, make that what the dog prefers.
Make yourself interesting to him by individual a Leader, start with long walks daily, after the hike play, challenging play. Shepherds are very bright and need the mental stimulation. He is favouring staying with them because what they are doing is more interesting than what you are doing, but long walks will be far more interesting than what they are doing, research to catch a frisbee will be more interesting, etc, etc...
Answers: Dogs gravitate towards the people they spend the most time near...so spend more time with your dog. Make sure you're the one feeding and watering him. You entail to exercise and play with him...then your dog will bond with you more.
Dogs are animals they do not get people status but they do understand a pack leader so be one.

Have your dog sleep surrounded by a crate right outside your bedroom door.
