$200 yorkies-REAL OR SCAM?
I found an ad for $200 tiny yorkies. The link is: http://pittsburgh.backpage.com/PetsForSa...
This seems bearing too cheap but they list a number? Is this a scam?
You receive what you pay for, and you pay for what you get.
There is not such entry as a tiny micro yorkie. these are just runt puppies that irresponsible breeders are trying to pawn off on unsuspected individuals. Do not carry one of these dogs as they will be nothing be problems for you. they are usually very unsavoury with medical problems their entire lives. they also do not live very long, maybe 2 to 3 years. This contained by my opinion, is a scam in the biggest sense of the word.
not if they are purebreed and stuff, my grandparents bought thier yorkie for about $500
I meditate it's a scam but even if it's a real ad I wouldn't move about anywhere near them. They're obviously not responsible breeders it's right in the title "Micro Teacup" Those so call "Micros or Teacups" are produced by breeding a runt too a runt they create health ridden tiny dogs. People might think at $200 it's deal but down the road they'll be paying for it at the vet office.
TOTALLY.
Please, if you want a Yorkie, go to the American Kennel Club website, find out what the breed club for the Yorkshire Terrier is, and then contact them roughly reputable breeders in your area.
Reputable breeders never advertise within newspapers, pennysavers, online websites (unless it's the breeders own person site and even then they don't directly put on the market the puppy from the website), fliers, etc.
Also a Yorkie from a rep breeder will usually cost WAAAAY more than $200.more like $1000!
considering that good breeders charge wayyyyy more that $200 for a full-bodied yorkie pup, i'd say it was a scam. the best way to find a dog in the present day is to look them up in the paper or try your local shelter. you never know what you might come across. you may also need to contact the vet that they be born at because often, yorkie moms have a hard time deliver & need help. you may also want to check the papers of the mom & dad of the pups to make certain they weren't inbred.
It is probably not a scam. When people are scammers on support page somebody else will post an ad that says watch out for this entity I went to see them and blah blah. You can only go see for yourself. How tiny be you thinking? The scam part may be that you will expect a tea cup and it won't be. The fact is a Yorki is viewed as tiny to start with so it could be false advertising in that sense. But you may gain lucky I know of a few people who have extra tiny chi's and get them for 200 or less.A scam that would be typical is 1,000 for tiny yorki teacup and they say it is 12 weeks when it is 6 to make it look additional tiny or the other way around they say it is 3 months when it is 6 weeks to make it appear additional tiny.If the mom is on premises it is a good indicator they are not lying and you can see by her size what may be the size of the pup.Probably just somebody who bred the family pet.
$200 is much too much to pay for heartbreak.
There is no such thing as a mini or micro mini or pocket! They are sickly runts bred and re-bred and in-bred and cross-bred and bred some more... they repeatedly have health and medical problems later on, mortal so small, and not able to support themselves.
seems close to complete crap to me. I mean no decent breeder would articulate "extremely teeny tiny micro teacup" Seriously??!
you should try calling the number, whether someone answers or you get the answering machine, then it is probably not a scam. But whether you call and no answer or the person you are talking to have no idea what you are talking about later it is probably a scam.
scam mate scam.
i have no just the thing what a tiny yorkie is, but suggest that you research other prices, and if they are way low, later ask why, if they seem to avoid the question, after probably is a scam, never hurts to ask and go look even if you dont buy
I don't know Sounds cheap, but get my chihuahua for $300 and it seems like every where they are nearly $800
it depends on it's breed. if it is a pure bred it is not uncommon. my pure bred cost $1,000!! it also depends on where you are getting it, do some research!
200 is not bad for purebred, but i would be concerned that they are supposed experienced breeders, that is really low for a good power akc reg. yorkie. look at them and if they appear healthy then travel for it. be aware all yorkies make a snorting sound that sounds close to a goose it should not keep going for more than a min or two at a time.
that sounds way to cheap for a yorkie..i have a purebred yorkie
(regular size) and i payed abt a thousand for him. i'd try an actual breeder. devout luck :)

any its someone trying to sell these puppies saying that they are breeders but really aren't and don't know anything about it or it's a huge scam.
why would you buy a dog over the internet? i would want to meet the dog i be buying first to see if i liked them and if they like me.
Probably a scam. You would travel to see them and they would be dogs with a cardboard mask of a yorkie on them.
Answers: Their location is the middle of the city! Be careful sounds like a not so reputable breeder to me.
I would be careful .This could be a puppy mill and the puppy's are not healthy so they get rid of them cheep
SCAM I got my teddy bear yorkie for over $2,000. And they estimate how much they will weigh full grown And I know the smaller they the more expensive
definitely a scam
never buy dogs over the internet btw
go to a shelter!
stir check it out yourself... shoot id buy one if they have a gaurantee..whether they are not healthy after a year bring it back.. and if they do stay tiny i dont vigilance if its full bread or not.. kall it a bootleg full bread!!
well it cant be a scam whether you come to get them
this sounds not good. those dogs are very expensive and i come up with this is a scam. they run way over 1200 for one and i have one. i dont' think i own ever seen the smallest dog that less. they are usually hugely high and the smaller they are the bigger the money amount is its scam for sure i feel.
