8 month puppy have multiple shaved patch on face/body?
It started to develop not more than 2-3 weeks ago. She has atleast 6 or 7 bald spots on her head/face and a couple more on her arms, chest and legs. I figured it be fleas but i couldnt find flea dirt nor any fleas.
Only 2 or 3 of the spots are red and irritated, the rest are just normal pink bald spots where on earth hair easilly falls out like the bald ring around her eye and along the sides of her mouth. I give her a bath but she was still itching afterwards. she also sleeps in my bed and i never itch
I don't believe it's food allergies because i switched her food a couple days after they formed and shes be eating the previous food for atleast 2 months
I'm thinking it's demodectic mange but I'm not completely sure
Sounds a lot approaching ringworm, and believe me when I tell you get it treated and limit your contact near the animal. You can pick up ringworm from your dog, been there done that... Best of luck to you!
I have a dog who has mange and you will have to pocket it The the vet or get it some Ivomec. That is what they prescribed my dog. I can not give you a dosage because that all depends on the solidity of your dog. My only concern is my dog does not itch with her problem.
best bet, go to the vet. If it isn't mange, it could be a virus, bacteria, allergies, or even fur mites.
OMG. Your dog may have ringworm or MANGE. TAKE IT TO THE VET IMMEDIATLY!

Answers: purloin her in to the vet for a skin scraping so they can identify and treat it if it is mange. whether it isn't they can help you identify environmental factors that may be causing the spine loss.
ADD: OK- well, then don't get sensitive since you failed to mention that in the beginning. Since we can't in fact see your dog and we aren't (for the most part) licensed vets, it really is a shot in the dark, besides, isn't it?
Go to the vet.
It may be ringworm or some other features of fungus.
Some years ago one of my puppies had the symptoms you describe. The vet told me that it be red mange, which is easily curable. There is another type of mange which is more of a problem. So you may want to have your puppy checked by a vet.
The symptoms obviously are correlated to the proper functioning of the immune system specifically still undergoing development in your puppy. There is a honourable chance that as time goes her immune system will be able to cope next to the situation and it will improve by itself.
In the meantime do everything to "assist" her immune system. Extra nutrients in her food will help. Regular exercise.
I hold been told that mange is usually passed on by the mother. Confirming this, regarding my puppy, I latter found out that the mother, although perfectly healthy when pregnat, had like problems when she was a puppy. Evidently there was a genetic predisposition surrounded by their immune system. But as she got older the spots dissappeared.
You may want to use some skin creams to protect the skin where the lacking hair spots are so as to keep them healthy until the hair grows posterior.
Good Luck
