About how much will it cost to...?
get my dog bathed at a petsmart? it would just be a bath and brush, he have medium length fur, and is about 65 lbs. - it would be in nebraska whether that makes a difference.
i am just looking for an estimate. i asked this a couple hrs ago and i just get smarta$$ remarks. i would appreciate it if i didn't this time.
It depends closely on the condition of your dog's coat. If there are matts, etc, it's going to cost significantly more. If you call petsmart, they will be happy to administer you a quote for a dog that size.
The kennel I used to work at charged $20ish for a bath and brush.
Petsmart charges by the size of the dog. The large the dog the complex the price. You would have to call them and ask what the price would be. After you find out the price from Petsmart, you can probably estimate about 25% more for private groomers. Again, it would be best to give the name and ask about pricing. They are usually happy to furnish an estimate over the phone.
Answers: Petsmart bases their prices by breed. A lab is going to cost less than a poodle or a rough collie. So thieve a guess at your dogs breed and then call them.
When I asked about getting my boy bathed and trimmed, I told them he be a collie (mistake on my part, he's boarder collie, but they thought I actually meant a collie, anyways) and they told me it's be nearly $70 - $80.
Your best bet is just to call around and find the best price.
Good luck.
We once called them to ask how much a full both and the works would cost for our Great Dane, they told us about $30. I don't know whether it was because of you location or if they're always that cheap. You could telephone them and find out for sure, but I would guess it would be about the same as our dog, because she's such a giant and have short hair, but your dog is smaller and has longer hair.
Probably about 30-40 dollars, I am guessing. Why don't you call Petsmart and ask them.
my guess would be around $55 for Petsmart, and 80 for a private groomer. As much as I love PetsMart as a company - they do fabulous things for rescue - I would go with a private groomer, and return with a better job done less frequently.
I can't imagine it would be more than 100$ - When my parents take their maltese in, it's roughly 30$
I'll be taking my sheltie in there, they're telling me it would be roughly 40$, (she's just barely bigger than the maltese.)
Hope this helps, whether you're only getting a bath and a brush and not a haircut, it should be correctly cheap.
Worst comes to worse, next time you're in the store go posterior to the grooming area and ask them. That's what I did.
All you have to do is phone call them and ask. That way you will know the exact amount of the price.
My dogs cost $45 each to groom. That's a tub, haircut, nails dremelled, ears cleaned, I use a private groomer. Get a dog shampoo from the pet store and do it yourself
something like 30-50 unless it is a puppy then under 20
