Amusing but fun Dog Tricks?
I really want to teach Loki a few fun little extra tricks and stun the family.
I own already taught him shake and that went down well. Just so you know, so far Loki know how to Sit, Lie Down, Roll Over, Shake, Leave it, Fetch and we are still working on Come and Stay.
Any ideas or good websites with excellent tricks I can edify him?
Try this site. Have fun with it! =]
My dog Chloe know a great one. We have trained her that when we hold up a treat (or even a flashcard) She barks until we bring it down. We can hold up a flash card reading any mathematical equation next to a semi-low answer and she can bark out the correct answer! When there is no flashcard handy, we of late say "3 + 3" or something and hold up a treat and she will bark 6 times and then we will bring it down so she know to stop. Some people actually believe she can do math! Its a great trick!
Edit: My other dog, Maizy, knows a trick we beckon "pow". We just point at her like a gun and say "pow" and she falls over. Its really basically a variation of "play dead" but its fun. If Loki already knows roll over, just stop him partially way and tell him to stay. He will eventually get it!
Answers: My boy will do figure 8's between my legs. SUPER easy to teach. You newly make him follow a treat slowly at first then speed up as he gets better.
He will also chase his tail on command. I started this one by clich¨¦ "do your circle" and it evolved into him chasing his tail. I just had him follow a treat in a total circle.
I will play the game (guess which hand it's in) with him. Put a treat losing my back, close my hand around it, put both hands out surrounded by front of me and ask "which one" and he will use his paw to pick. This should be easy for Loki to learn because he can already shake hands.
I also skilled him the Slide. Where I stand behind him over his back and when I say SLIDE he will dive lower than my legs and through them backwards.
Speak is also a good one to teach. Just differentiate between speak and bark. Use Bark for the correction ie: NO BARK and speak for the trick.
I dont have any links, but I teach my dog how to go underwater over jumps like a horse!
I started with little X's, and worked my mode up. She currently jumps 3'5
sry i dont have any links, but I find this dog jumping entry amusing.
I freshly got a book that has 101 tricks!
Play dead is another biddable one.
I'll get you the link to the book I got.
My girl just mastered the calculus not long. Probably the best thing you can do with your dog.
Or poetry, that's cool as well.
have him do some agility or play dead
search it on google
High Ten is a good one :D and stand (stand on back legs).crawl (get your dog to lie down and crawl to you whilst you are holding a treat)...
:D
I remember when I be looking for dog tricks on Youtube and found a few good ones. Here's the video:
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=MOiZLcdxEx...
Not all are "tricks" in the video, hence the dog purely jumping into the water but I really think the "penguin" trick is amusing and cute.
I'm not certain how you would teach Loki that, because it's not a How To Teach video.
Good luck!
resourcefully he's got to know right paw and left paw you fam will be like wooow! tutor him to dance..that would be awesome!
Here's a site I belong to that's seriously of fun:

chase his tail gives them exercise and funny at one and the same time
Shake is always a fun one.
To really "Wow!" them, you could teach her what we taught our dog.
"Shake!"
*she lift her left paw to shake*
"Good girl! Other paw"
*she lifts her right paw to shake*
