Anyone tried using Frontline spray to treat pave the way lice within culture?
As a last desperate measure to get these critters lower than control I'm very tempted to frontline my son and myself!
As it's safe on 2 year old puppies I figured it would be OK on us and probably a dam verbs more effective than the stuff I've been using from the chemist (UK).
So just wondering whether anyone has tried it? No need to yell at me though I haven't done it..all the same :-)
You cannot frontline your child put lots of conditioner in the hair and comb it through beside a nit comb, try tree tea oil shampoo to prevent the nits in the future
The thought of using anything on my dogs that is considered unsafe for humans is appals me. I own never used Frontline or the other conventional flea treatments for my dogs. I use a kind natural preventative remedy to prevent fleas etc., My dogs have never have fleas, I don't think that the conventional stuff is safe for puppies and I would not use it on children.
I will paste the preventative flea treatment that I enjoy used forever. I don't know if it kills fleas because my dogs have never have this problem, read the following and decide if the ingredients will help.
There are lots of treatments for massacre and preventing fleas, they are full of nasty chemicals and they are expensive. I make up a solution for my dogs which prevents fleas, although it is also said to kill fleas I own no experience of this because my dogs have never had fleas.
At the outset it may be expensive to buy the ingredients, however they will last for years. Use a few drops of Citricidal and fundamental oils of Citronella, Tea Tree and Lavender. Add this to half a pint of vinegar or water and sponge a small amount onto your dog’s coat. I use this give or take a few twice a week. Investigate the ingredients on the Internet, hopefully you will use this instead of the nasty stuff.TRY THIS ON YOUR DOGS, YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN
Unless you bark and pee on fire hydrants, I would not use this stuff either on myself or my child! There are right over the counter meds out there for lice; and as every school has this buggy problem most every year, this have been proven to be very effective.
I would not recommend that. I'm sure if you read the directions it probably say for it not to come in contact with your skin.
You need to use the human products, be certain to comb through every bit of hair, and your scalp. Keep checking for eggs. Wash everything in the house that you can in hot hot hose.
Last ditch effort, I'd say bald is the road to go.
Answers: Things have to be ultra safe these days and similar to you say, it's ok for use on pups. I would give it a go but after when I was vet nursing I used to take dog antibiotics when I needed them...only difference is that they be beef flavoured = )
I would try it on yourself before using it on your son though, just in covering of a bad reaction.
Oh gosh!...No Gart, don't use it. If you don't want to use any chemicals next try pasting loads Vaseline in your hair and comb through with a fine tooth comb. Wash and repeat.
My children go through school and never got them...I think it's because we use tons of grease within our hair.
Try putting a little grease in your son's hackle each day...The little critters can't get a grip consequently.
umm yeah do not try it. that is why they be paid treatments for humans to use.
Its worth the try.
I know its used to treat mites on snakes, and lice are two steps absent from mites, so why not? Just prepare for a burning sensation when it hits where they've chewed on you.

There are tons of human treatments out nearby, don't mess around with the animal stuff. Go back to the doctor for some better meds.
yeah u can. my sister got so sick of the kids catching head lice/nits from college i mean they were bad!, she used a puppy flea spray and adjectives the dead lice fell out. it really worked. so some of our family have used it 2, whether a really bad case of head lice
cover the facade while sprayin and washing hair right after

I'd invite neighbourhood kids for a lice hunt. Can be lots of fun.
One of the most effective treatments is conditioner. Like Afro said - grease- if you pile on the conditioner and comb through , consequently wash and repeat. In a day or so they should be gone
There is also a spray you can get for your pillows - spray, depart from for 1/2 hour and hoover.
If you can bear to - comb through some vodka - that works too
I wouldn't Gart.obtain the clippers out get a Lionel Blair cut
