most of the plants that are no virtuous for dogs to be around tend to affect them with skin problems, not with the eyes.
lots of grasses that have seed can cause irritation to a dog's eye as grass seeds can easily obtain in while they are sniffing around or can just blow in beside the wind

Answers: ASPCA's website has a catalogue of plants that affect animals. Most are just toxic if ingested, but if you look through the schedule I'm sure there are some that might be skin/eye irritants. I'd also assume that some of the things that would be irritating to humans would, likewise, be irritating to animals.
possibly poison ivy.
