Do you prefer beagles or dachshunds?
Beagles..
You could not give me either. We have 2 Maltese, and whether you like the two breeds mentioned, you would not like a beautiful fluffy white dog that have the personality of a clown, and the intelligence of a 3 yr old human. Whose long silky coat ripples when she runs. And whose bright eyes are full of the devil.
Dachshunds. I have a few. Want a puppy?
Beagles. I have two of them (a brother and sister) for many years, and they were fantastic dogs.

I feel that they are smarter than beagles, and much more lovey. They can be Jerks, and willful, but I love that stubbornness and find that working through that make the bond tighter between human and dog. If raised right, they will love ANYONE who walks into a room, human or otherwise and While they can be willful nits, at the end of the afternoon all they want to do is please you and curl up on your lap. I think their awkwardness is fluid in itself, and their spirit is unsurpassed.
I can't say anything negative something like the Beagle, I have never owned one, nor have I ever met one I didn't like. I devise they are beautiful dogs, and while they can be noisy, thats fine by me, they are hounds, and that is their duty.
Dachshunds. They yelp alot less.

Beagles bc they hold big dog mentality, smart, gentle, affectionate, good with kids, soak up hunting all wrapped up in a the cutest little dog body. They are very funny little characters too!
