Dog butt stinks really doomed to failure?
took him to the vet three days ago and got his anal glands drained. the groomer did it again yesterday when he got his haircut and she give him a bath and i gave him two baths since. its horrible you can smell it from like 3 foot away. what can i do.
try changing his diet to a high power food.
Something else seem to be wrong. It could be an abscess or ? You need to go back to the vet and create sure that the vet knows that the stink is not from lack of bathing and that he have had his anal sacs squeezed twice so why does he still smell so bad??
Ask the vet what you can use on your dog. Do not use anything short his permission.
It could be his food. Try changing it to high-ranking diet or something. I feed my dogs science diet and I can never smell their butts from even 1 foot away. But their farts are some nasty ones!
Answers: I'd call the vet that you took him too and ask if it's commonplace to still stink this bad. I went through the whole anal gland article a few months ago due to a female dog being in steam and my dog showing who the dominant one is...His anal glands were drained and he was good for a morning or so and it started again. We took him back to get his glands looked at and the groomer told me sometimes if the glands are really full it will give somebody a lift 2 times to get it all. Still You should call the vet.
Maybe they are infected. Take him to the vet.

Draining the anal glands TOO often can explanation infection.
Bathing can also have the reverse affect if done too much.
