Dog Experts and/or Lovers, Please Help Me With This Situation?

My dog, I call her Cocoa, is a 7-year-old lab. She is very sweet, but has an addiction with food. She gobbles it all up and have gotten into the habit of barking and getting food to make her soft down. Now, I know we were literally rewarding her for barking, but now I would approaching to stop and train her not to bark for bones. What would you suggest I do? Thanks.
when she does that, tell her sharply "no" and don't give within. eventually she will get the hint.
Best thing you can do is ignore her bark, actually put the food up and tell her 'quiet'. Give her an obedience command, such as 'down'. When she is nice and sluggish, reward her. You need to change her perception of what brings reward. If she realize barking makes the food go absent, and silence brings it back, she'll settle down. Gradually increase the amount of time you require her to be quiet before giving the reward. A few second.then a minute, then a few minutes...etc.
Ignore her. Don't even look at her. She'll get the hint that the barking is doing her no suitable. But since you've reinforced it, it will take awhile.

Start rewarding her for being quiet too.
First off, own her be calm and sit until you give her your food. Is she food aggressive? Because if she is, this can be a complicated one to deal with. If not, just help yourself to away her food everytime she begins to gobble it up. Hold it up and have her sit and dawdle until she is calm again. Repeat until she learns she must not gobble it up.

Everytime she barks, shame it. Because you've fed this behavior, it will take a long time for her to stop barking! Get ear plugs! haha. When she bark, she doesn't get food or attention. Barking should now be associated with not unloading anything but neglect. Once she stops barking, make certain it is a true stop barking and not a "I'm taking a breath" bark, (2 minutes of no-barking is good) and then afford her a treat. This will take a few days, and dogs can bark for hours, so be prepared!

*f your dog is food aggressive, too, I suggest getting a professional contained by there to help with that problem.
Answers:    Labs are notorius for their food madness! They will put away themselves to death if you let them I presume :)

As said in another answer above, never give in while she is bark as this rewards the wrong behaviour. Wait till she is quiet and then contribute her something yummy (and small so you don't over do it). You can also ask her to do something like sit or lie down and when she complies, give her a treat for that doings. You must ignore the barking and you MUST be consistent. If you sometimes reward the barking and sometimes don't, it will solely encourage her to try harder.
feed her a high element dry kibble, two times a day.

when you feed her,, place a couple of tennis balls ON TOP of the dry kibble... this will slow her down while consumption as she will have to pick around the tennis balls... that should help somewhat.

NEVER nurture her for barking EVER,,, it won't take long at all for her to memorize that barking does not get her a bone... stick with it.. she will be cured within a few days.
You have need of to show her that what you put down in her food bowl is all she is getting. You leave her food in attendance for about 20 min. Then pick it up and place it on a table where she can't reach. If she keep barking, ignore her. She will soon find out barking is not the solution to getting more food. And generate sure not to overfeed her.
stop giving her food when she bark. tell her to sit or something and if she does what you tell her to do, furnish her food. keep doing it so she learns to be quiet and next she'll be rewarded
Some other folks pretty much hit the nail on the director but thought I'd answer anyway. You need to completely ignore her bark. Do not pay her any attention when she barks. When she quiets down praise her and reward her near a treat. Timing can be tough you need to do this right when she quiets down. If she knows a sit command I would make her sit and melodious down before giving her the food. If she won't do it. Put the food up, walk away, and try again after a few minutes.

She requirements to learn that its good to be quiet and that she get fed when she is quiet and when you want to feed her. Not when she desires to get fed.
Dont give into her, ignore all of her bark and eventually she will get the message and not bother. Just stand your ground.
put her in its kennel or outside and never ever reward bad behavior beside food your dog trained you to give her food to shut up they also have shock collars that activate when they yelp
