Dog is overcompensating. Hooked on beer and poodles. ?

I took your advice and introduced my depressed dog to beer and poodles. Now they have locked me out and are playing loud music and throwing furniture out the windows. Poodles are showing up beside more beer and short skirts. I think he dosn't respect me as alpha dog anymore. Was I wrong to interecede in his original depression? I kindly of liked the Sinatra songs he used to listen to.
