EVER CAVED IN?? >> who give their dog table bits and pieces?

so do you give in to those big puppy eyes and cave surrounded by and give your doggie the odd table scrap?? >>> be honest??

Yes I do, mine just have Turkey and Pumpkin pie. I don't feed while I'm eating at the table, and always within a dog bowl on the floor. 10 - 20% treat type food, and 90-80% balanced super premium dog food is a fine diet.

Special people food like cooked meat, or cheese bits, are great for training too !
Yes, I've given in. Honest.

My pup have been in training and I want him to still know I'm boss. So, if I administer in I have him do a trick he's learned surrounded by training. B/c it comes easy to him I have him do several in a row and next I'll also do a "wait" and test how well he watches my eyes as I play w/ the food. (wait isn't done every time but, often). When he does the trick and/or does a good dawdle then he gets a bit.

My other pup is just getting started surrounded by training and knows "sit" and "kiss"...so I'll have her do one she's learning until that time I give in.

I'm kinda weak for the puppy dog eyes but, I try just in moderation, when they do a command, and I never give sweets or anything that is on the "do not eat" register.

I give my dog kibble and they live off that I don't give them table odds and ends to live off. The little piece of chicken or egg was a treat for following the command. Thought I'd clarify after reading the other answers.

Hey, I'm honest right? :)
Never from the plate while I was eating. Dobermanns need to know their place within the pack & that's at the bottom of it! Why? Given an inch the very intelligent Dobermann would run riot!

I have however served scraps next to their kibble in their dinner bowls.
My Jack Russel eat the same as I do.
When I am done eating I fix him a plate.
Most of the time I feed him sour my fork.
He is very well behaved and have table manors.
We have giving him birthday parties and he have had cake and Ice Cream.
I also leave some ice cream within my bowl for him when I have a nightly snack.

I know... he will probably die from to much cholesterol and have a heart attack. But he is a happy dog while he is next to me.
Depends on what the meal was, if its something next to fruit or vegetables, then yes, I admit, I do put the tablescraps/lefovers in the bowls.
Yes, I do give them table scraps, but absolutely not at the table, it is either used as a treat or a partial meal. I must approve of whether or not it is good for them. They solely get dog-safe people food.
Nope, my dogs know better then to get into someones face when they are consumption
I never really basically give my dog table scraps right off the top. Sometimes, we do distribute her little things like ham, but we don't just giver her table bits and pieces. My dog isn't even in the kitchen when I eat!
Answers:    l do, but when you've get two pairs of sad Lab eyes staring at you it's difficult to say no.
Although Milly is now on a diet, too copious table scraps l think!
It's difficult not to. My concern is for the "owner in training" who whine that her dog won't eat anything but people food, so that's all they furnish it.
When it is something that is honest for them, and will not hurt them then yes, otherwise no, I dont want to clean up diahrrea
Yes, mine do achieve table scraps depending on what they are and also once a week they get raw chicken and eggs next to a little bit of garlic powder mixed together
Yes I do, only whether we are having baked or broiled chicken, or London Broil, this is part of their diet, so yes, if at the table, will make available each a nipple or two, but not much...nothing else off the table/

Everything in moderation. I give my 7 year antediluvian husky/shepard a little bit. But she can't beg at the table.
I have 11 dogs.

If I gave respectively of them a bite of my meal, there'd be none for me.

Besides, my food is MINE! Grrrrrrrr.
i give my dog human food after I am done ingestion and if she did not bug me while i was eating. And she have to "work" for it by doing a trick or two
Yes I do but I am diligent what.
Never. I always put any treats in the dog's bowl, where they belong.
Nope. Some dogs like mine can return with sick easily. Also, then they always cadge and beg and beg
