How commen are blue shar peis?
How commen are the blue shar peis dose anyone hear have one.
Answers: Not as common as the typical fawn or red colors, but there's quite a few out here. A lot of "breeders" (aka the back yard breeders that are totally clueless and just trying to construct a quick buck at the expense of their dogs) will call several different colors "blue" and say that it's a "rare" color and charge profusely more money for them, when they might not even have a blue Shar Pei at all! There are a lot of other colors that might look considerate of blue-ish, and not actually be a true blue Shar Pei. It's all in the genes. ;-)
