How commonly should a small dog capture bathed?
Just wondering because it always seems that our small dog stinks!
My big dogs don't stink and only win bathed when very dirty! which isn't often.(not to mention Duke hates baths)
They're no different than your big dogs. Once a month unless she gets super dirty. Too much bathing is really really bad for her skin and coat
It really depends on the type of dog. If it have long hair,or it slobbers a great deal, bathe it more. But something else to consider is the diet. Look at what your dog is ingestion, try changing it up some, more dry food, less dry food, different brand of dog food. If things don't change, dance check with your vet.
Answers: If he stinks.. you obligation to watch when he goes out side and see what he gets into.. sometimes..
they roll surrounded by things that stink on the ground.. some times food..
sometimes they have a ear infection.. which stinks..
Depending on the type of dog.. and its skin..
once (a) 2weeks..
any more..
and I would always use a shampoo like Oatmeal to hold on to it from drying out.. there are others on the market.. check around..
Take care
Probably not more than once a month, you'll dry her out if bathed too often. Oatmeal shampoo is good for not drying out so much. I propose you check out her ears. Maybe she has an infection.
Depends on what type of dog you have.
once a month is not nearly habitually enough. once a week or at least once a fortnight.
im guessing you mean your cairn yorkie mix.
with dee dee we clean up her once or twice a month (if needed)
she is brushed daily and once a week we will use a damp cloth to wipe off any dirt or smells she have on her..
my small dogs dont stink.. matter in fact luca smells resembling ham lol
1 a month bathing is adjectives that is neccessary unless the dog gets really dirty inbetween, too much bathing will dry out the coat. Try to avoid the tea tree oil and other hebal rememdies, dogs can hold adverse effect, my dog was trusted to be wash by a dog wash who used organic rememedies and told me they were Safe and now she chews her bottom all the time and her antenna has also has a nice burn mark from the remedies. Dogs do not own the same ph level as humans. I would prefer my dog to have a chemical base medicinal wash or plain base without the use of innate rememdies, but unfortuantly due to water restriction we have to get dog clean up out to us, unless we have a dog inside and being a rental, dogs are banned from this rental and sombrely for most, these dog washes around here believe environmental essential oil base dog shampoo are good and safe and Do not cause allergic recoil, however these essential oil can cause Allergic reaction, as what happened to my dog.
