How do you manufacture your dog stop climbing and scratch on your christmas tree please minister to adjectives will give support to gratitude?
my baby dashound larinn climbs on the limbs of the trees and is scratching on the christmas tree trunk and knock the tree down almost every day and i put it back up my dog is discouraging how do i get him to stop
Ok, get some peppermint spray and spray the tree. dogs don't close to the smell of peppermint and they will keep their distance (PEPPERMINT IS VERY STRONG) so don't use to much, just a spray or two. thx
also it will keep your house or apt smelling angelic.
you own to repremand him very harshly when you catch him within the act of being bad. wail at him a get really mad, dont worry your dog will receive over it. also always something at hand to throw at him, like a magazine or a tissue box. i promise it wont hurt him, but you really cant be nice when it comes to making your dog listen and stop doomed to failure habits.
Answers: Do what you have to to keep him absent from the tree. Since you can't watch him 24/7 keep him away from it. Save yourself and him from the grief.
Whenever he jumps up on the tree bring up to date him 'no' and make him sit. If this does not work, when he jumps on the tree make a loud reverberation... you could hit a pan with a wooden spoon or kind of bellow ahh ahh. We ended up building a wooden fence... keeps adjectives 9 dogs and bay and since christmas is at my house and my siblings are here all the time.. keeps kids at creek too.. lol

Teach them the hindmost command. When you see them go towards the tree, get between them and the tree(body blocking) and move towards the dog, and say, spinal column, back, and do a sweeping motion with your hands. When she back away a few steps, give a treat, and repeat.
