How do you take the smell of dog pee out of hardwood floors?

I recently moved into a new (new to me) home and surrounded by one of the rooms the hardwood floors smell like dog pee. I have tried all kind of home remedies to get the smell out and I can STILL smell it... Any ideas?? Maybe someone can hand over me one that I've not tried yet.

Thanks in advance.
Have you tried bleach. Bleach is supposed to be the only item that kills 99% of all bacteria.
The only track is to replace the floor. All efforts that don't involve removing the contaminated wood will fail - unless you go to the great expense of seal the wood, which probably isn't practical. It takes more than just a coating of shellac - because most such coatings are permeable and will soon allow the odor to become obvious again.
Answers:    Vinagar later orange oil

My friend's family sprays vinegar on the pee spot right when they see it. I'm not sure it will work because it's an old pee spot, but I would plainly say that it's worth a try.
