How long do dogs live whether the are big,milieu and small?
how many years old from the biggest dog to the smallest dog?
Small = 12-18 years
Medium = 12-15 years
Large = 10-12 years
Extra Large = 8-10 years
I have one of the giant Great Danes. He was a chanpion and a huge dog.
Much to my disappointment, he died at the age of 7 years.
I also had a small Maltese and she lived to be 23 years.
I was told by my Vet, that the larger dogs do hold a much shorter life span than the smaller breeds.

i am not certain but i herd that the smaller the dogs head the bigger the life span.
the general rule of thumb, is the bigger the dog, the shorter the life span.
Irish Wolfhounds, the tallest of adjectives breeds, live for around 6 yrs.
poodle can live to almost 20 yrs.
alot of this depends on the care (including vet visits) they get throughout their lifetime.
i ponder that they all live the same number of years
