How long is common for a dog to hold loose stool after pregnancy?
My dog gave birth to 9 puppies on Nov 22 about a week and a half ago. I own not changed her diet other than an increase in what she normally eat and she still has loose stool and also is panting heavily from time to time without doing any excercise. I called her vet and he is absent and can not see me for a couple of days. Should I be concerned and just bring her to an emergency clinic?
she needs to eat puppy food. she should own eaten puppy food during her pregnancy. she especially needs the additional calories now.

I'd thieve her to an ER vet just to be certain. The panting could just be hormone base... have you checked to see if she has a restlessness? Fever+loose stool=instantly to the er vet for a nursing mother.
