How much should my puppy be drinking?
I have a 13 week old pit terrier, she acts similar to shes starving when I go to feed her! We've be feeding her twice a day.
Shes had her first shots and be de-wormed.
Whats the average for a puppy her age and breed?
puppies need to munch through at least 3 times a day sometimes 4 times it depends on how young they are
only feed her twice a day, but construct sure you are feeding her a good, illustrious quality puppy food and feed to the manufacturers specs. If I didn't know better, I would reflect my DDB pup was starving, the way she wolfs down her food and sniffs the in one piece area for more LOL! most dogs will eat as much as you let them, so you own to set the limits.
Answers: I would feed her 3 times a day...when she is alittle older around 6 months i would drop it to 2 times a day. Take whatever food recommendation sour her dog bag and split it into 2-3 feedings...pups can eat a lot during this stage...solitary leave the bowl unattended for 20 minutes and then take it absent...

Take your puppy's weight at 16 weeks/4 months double it and you will get a good collection of its adult weight.
At 9 months most pups will have reach about 80% of their adult height...remember most pitbull terriers array from 50-80lbs and stand around 18-21 inches

i have a jack russell terrier mix..and when it was a puppy, i give it about a cup and a half a day. my dog scarfed the food down too, but i purely left it.
