Hybrid dog grill ?
When you cross two dogs,fore example American bulldog Then a pit bull If the mother was the Am bulldog and the father was the pit bull.Would the puppies look more like American bulldogs because of the mother carring them and the father (pitbull) a short time ago impregnating .Not for breeding intentions just my friend and I are arguing about it and i wanna know.

adjectives they need is a buddy to play with so they r not lonely and lazy

first of all.. this breeding will not result in "hybrids".. a hybrid animal is the result of breeding 2 different species.. the only road you will get a "hybrid" dog is if you breed a domestic dog to a wolf or coyote. ALL breeds of dog are the SAME specie.
It doesnt matter what the parents be.. the pups could resemble either parent.. even pups in the same litter will not look alike.. one may resemble the pit more, another may resemble the bulldog more.. and another pup will be a total mix of both! When you breed mixes.. the genetics are a crapshot at best.. it just depends on which genes the pup gets. I know of two "cockapoos" from like litter.. one is much calmer, and resembles the poodle more, with the curly white poodle coat.. the other is an active dog and resembles the cocker spaniel more, near a buff-colored cocker coat.
Answers: i aversion to do this i am a big bully dog fan. i dont want to argue with anyone but there is really a dog name a pitbull. it is the american pitbull terrier. there were other pit fighters but one of them does have the dub pitbull. now for the answer if you mix these two breeds they are so close to almost anyone the same dog. it will inherit the pitbull look but they will be bigger dogs depending on the type of american bulldog used "smith or johnson" it could be tall and muscular or very stocky and muscular but it will look close to a big pitbull...Chris
There is no way of knowing which traits each puppy would inherit. The puppies may or may not adjectives look the same. You could have one that looks and acts lately like the father, one that looks and acts just resembling the mother, one that looks like the father but acts like the mother, one that looks similar to the mother but acts like the father, or any combination of traits from both parents, or a combination of traits from parents and grandparents and great grandparents, etc.
1) dogs are the same species (canis lupus familiaris) so are not hybrid. A mix between two breeds is still the same species.
2) it is impossible to accurately predict what a cross bred dog will look approaching as each pup in a litter may exhibit different tendencies.
With animals, the pups can take after any parent - doesn't really matter which the mother is.
BTW there is no real breed call "pitbull" - its a name given to breeds of dogs that look like the ones you see in dog war and most of them are mixes - not purebred. The closest breed would be the American Stafforshire Terrier on which the "pitbull" is based.
American Bulldogs are 5x bigger then an American Pit Bull Terrier, lol. Anyway, the person that answered first was freshly about 100% on that. Most of the Mastiff breeds Ive bred and worked with have have more dominant genes though. ( American Bulldogs are in the Mastiff family. So are the real American Pit Bull Terriers. )
Those would be Mixes not really "Hybrids" though. I wasn't even thinking at the moment, sorry. I'm tired, lol.

They could look resembling either-or a mix of both. Mutts are funny in that way.
And they wouldn't be hybrids unless you mixed another species in (like a wolf). They'd a short time ago be mutts--the term "hybrid" was created to make them seem to be more desirable.

Both your breeds look similar. The mother carrying the pups has nothing to do with how they are going to look. The pups when grown should own characteristics of both parents.
It could lean 50/50. Puppies (like humans) can get genes from both parents.
Or you could have some puppies that look like the mom, some that look close to the dad, and some that look mixed.
Its kind of random. they might not adjectives look alike. Some might look more like one breed and some like the other breed. Some could even look like a combination (50/50.)
Pull out a punnett square! It doesn't matter who is carrying the litter. Here is inheritance 101 (more like 01...)

Pup one is unpredictable. Put two looks more like Amstaff. Pup three looks more like pitt. pup for is unpredictable. As you can see, mutts near no predictable results.
ADD: ocimom. There is an American Pitbull Terrier, recognized by the UKC and ADBA. the Amstaff is recognized by the AKC.
