I requirement back beside my neapolitan mastiff?
I have a neapolitan mastifff who is 8 month around 80 lb .. he has been bitting his leash when ever i appropriate him for a walk.. he has got for a while too aggersive all of a sudden... yes he has been nutered
Im no expert on dogs, but it looks to me that your dog might be doing this to get your attention. If you are gone most of the day, it might be because he wants someone to dangle out with. I have a 4 year old golden lab and she is HUGE she used to chew everything and anything contained by sight. but i bought this spray and it smells bad to dogs but good to humans and it taste really bad. we used to spray our furniture with it and ever since she never chewed anything up. You can find it at almost any pet supply store. I get mine from Pet Smart.
I hope i helped

Have you taken him through obedience classes? If not, sign him up NOW. Its worth whatever price you wage. I have a 2 year old Neapolitan myself and I would never allow that type of behavior from him. He weighs 116 pounds currently and be neutered at 7 months. He almost weighs more than I do. If he get aggressive or started pulling me on walks, that would be the end of his walk. Right at hand. You can't let them push you around. A good behaviorist/trainer will be able to relieve you TONS.
Neapolitans are naturally a dominant breed and need an owner who is the boss, without ask.
Contact your local kennel club. They can refer you to a reputable trainer in your nouns.
My boston terrier does that too! (only he's a bit lighter, my dog!!)
I taught him the command "Leash Manners". Stop and say the command twice and point at him. This shows him that his behavior is not agreeable and usually he will let go. Keep doing this until he stops. If he does not stop or get aggressive. Say it to him again and point at him, and until he understands, keep doing it.
Good Luck!
Answers: mastiff breeds pilfer a very firm hand in surrender. you must be firm and consistent and not give an inch. any large dog must behave better than small dogs because humans have smaller number physical control over them. Take him to obedience class and take it seriously. He will entail at least two levels of obedience and fixed leadership. Good luck
