Is nearby anything that can be done beside a dog next to a over shot bottom cheek. win dry cracked orifice (underbite)?
she is a year old there on the 25th and when i got her the vet said she be overshot. but i didnt care as she isnt a show dog and he was happy next to her. she is a black and tan minature hunt terrier. her bottom jaw is over shot. her bottom teeth stick out but she doesnt look ugly. i indicate it she is so so so so so so cute. so not bothered with look as she is class but her bottom lip gets dry and cracks so i own to put vasaline on it everyday. is there anything that can be done, she has no problem with it and devour anything bite anything its just her dry lips. she is a outside dog, have her own dog house runs free in he massive yard, and free runs through horses field. i notice the cracked dry lips summer time i assummed the sun, but that was the age she got her big teeth too, so i only just would have been that time and has never really stopped. i stopped for a while to see would clear up on own but never does as one clears anothe crack comes. she have water on hand and eats everything so it doesnt bother her i'm would in recent times like to help her if i can. a moment ago wondering thanks in advance
Unfortunately here is not much you can do about her bite , but the vet can actually take a few teeth out within the right places and it can correct itself sometimes I have had this next to some dogs but the vet took them out when they were 6months so not sure if it is to slow or not I would go and talk to the vet or give them a give the name about it.
Ive never heard of this cracked lip thing she may own excema as one of the dogs has had it on his foot before and be treated with a steriod cream. Maybe you could call the vet and discuss about the teeth and lip and see whether connected and something can be done?

I reflect on this needs a discussion with your vet, who can see what the problem looks like. There may powerfully be some dental work that can be done to prevent this from happening all the time. Putting cream etc. on won't cure the problem (and for sure, an below, or overbite cannot be put right either), but maybe there is something that can be done to help.
our dog had a very overshot jaw and zilch happened except they need their teeth brushed commonly. our was rescued and 10 when we got her and her teethe were discusting!!

she had been beaten because she have teeth mising, a bent tail, she was bandy and once she got stuck after jumping through a barricade and when you touched the scruff of her neck to help her back she screatched!

If her bottom jaw is longer than her top jaw she is undershot, not overshot. Overshot is when the top jaw is too long, some populace call overshot jaws parrot mouths. My vet gets it wrong sometimes and call a long bottom jaw overshot.
Can you get Paw Paw cream where you are? That would back but you need to keep applying it. Paw Paw cream will heal as all right as moisturise. Othewise maybe Vitamin E cream.
Keeping her inside out of the weather will help too. Sun and wind will craft it worse.
Answers: Since I am not a Vet, the single thing that I can say is 'if your dog is not surrounded by obvious pain with her poor chapped chops, then it must not hinder her life' Now, you can take her to the vet and ask for anything else that can be done. I also hold a dog with an over shot bottom jaw, his breed (boxer) it is very middle-of-the-road for them to have this. He doesn't have any lip issues, just crooked bottom teeth. But he lives his energy like a dog should. And so does yours, She seems happy and lucky to own a great owner. If you need a vet with a degree on his wall to see whether anything else can be done, then do it. Though I am unsure anything can be besides putting vaseline on them. I hope that all turns out fine. I have a brindle mutt with a severe under-bite. The dog is completely worthless as a guard dog except those protruding teeth trademark her look vicious. She is instantly anyones best friend.
My vet is always bringing up canine orthodontia. If you really don't like seeing her teeth bared adjectives the time and there is no other salve to remedy the cracked lips, you may be capable of help her by some corrective method.
My dog is about 10 or 11 and although her condition seems to be getting worse contained by her old age she is still capable of eating.
