my lifelong friend and companion had cancer and i made the hardest decision to own her go to rest on 10-22-08..
anyway we have two kittens and i swear that somewhere inside them is my dog..they do alot of things she normally did, the female kitten is especially showing some of my dogs person..(theres certain things that she does that when she does them i can see my dog)..
my question is...When you lose a loved one, can they project part of themselves into pets that be there shortly after her?
am i crazy or is it possible?

Well, if there really is such a item as reincarnation, then absolutely animals can come back again surrounded by another animal.
I swear that my jack russell is a reincarnation of a german shepherd we had a few years ago.
Although it would seem almost undeserved that they are given the same owners in the same house, beside the same food and the same toys, lol
Or maybe we simply had so much love for our pets that they requested to come back to us.
Well Sylvia Browne says no. She say that dogs come back as dogs, and cats come back as cats, and humans come back as humans. I am not certain if she is right or not. My dog, Mysti, died a week before we were supposed to pick up our current puppy, so they never met. Ironically our puppy is nearly identical to Mysti, and she has some traits the seem resembling Mysti came back to life. I guess it is lately my desire to have my old dog back, that I see so much of her contained by my current puppy. Sometimes I wake up and I think my puppy woke me because I swear I saw a black dog, and she is black, so I get up to tolerate her out, and she is on the other side of the house sleeping. It would be nice to think that Mysti came back while I be sleeping just for a visit.
Your lifeless pet will always be a part of you, since she was such a pious friend.
It's sad to lose a pet, and it's understandable how you might see traces of your lost pet in others.

yes because in Buddhism they believe that you hold coming back depending on how you lived your life like for instance let say you lived as a courageous type of person and you past absent you might be reincarnated as a tiger or an owl if youre wise so bottom line i'm an atheist & adjectives but whether coincidence or not that might just had to occur or perchance its all in your head psychologically sort of speak

Answers: It is ironic that those things that you remember just about your dog, your kitten is now doing. Perhaps animals can sense something about their new owner that they may approaching or enjoy. Maybe there is something about you that make your pet behave the way it does. Regardless of the answer you seek for this "phenomena", you should just embrace it . Sometimes energy should have it's mysteries .

I'm starting to think that next to some of my dogs. My dog Dreyfuss, an American Bulldog mix passed away in 2005. I now enjoy Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and have bred two of them together and kept one of the puppies. And i seriously believe that Dreyfuss is in a part of Brinkley, the puppy we kept. They enjoy the same kind of personality. Very loving and nearly human just as Dreyfuss was. And things he does reminds me of him. Then i purchased another Cavalier from a lady that couldn't keep hold of her. The Cavalier came from the same breeder i got some of my other dogs from. Back within 2006 my Boxer passed away of old age. This new Cavalier i get reminds me of my Boxer Kayla. Seriously. She even has the same face as a Boxer and she too have the same type of personality as my Boxer. Even my family think so too. They see a lot of similarities in those 2 dogs.
And i don't even believe in reincarnation.
