Is it possible my dog may not approaching me anymore?

i am about 12 weeks pregnant and my dog that follows me around all the time and sleeps with me and my husband and his dog is not acting alike. he usually will sleep by my side but he is now sleeping at the foot of the bed. i really dont want him to be upset cause i love him and he is my first tot.
He senses the change in you and that you have need of his protection. Its not that he doesnt like you anymore but can protect more when he is by the door - he will meet intruders first. My dog didnt like other dogs but would never chase or confront them - of late kept away. when i was pregnant and had the child, she would chase them away if they came inside a few feet.
He knows something is different and his sense of smell is hundreds of times more evolved than humans. He knows, on some level, that you are pregnant, or necessitate some extra care or protection.

Dogs are amazing and have be trained to detect cancer and other diseases, in addition to the work they do sniffing out drugs, fire arms and other contraband with directive enforcement.

Just keep loving the dog, and expect him to be protective of the both you and the baby once the little tyke arrives.

Once your baby is moving around a bit, however, never take off them alone for a second. A baby of a few months old, not knowing better, will want to accomplish out for a dog, and may hurt it without meaning to. A dog, trying to "rope in" a misbehaving "pup" will go for the baby's pave the way or scruff of the neck, a normal instinct, and one that does not hurt a puppy, but an deed that can have catastrophic effects for a little baby.

Congrats, Mama! Take caution of yourself and your family!
Your dog senses your hormonal changes and doesn't know what to make of it. Just salary extra attention to him to assure him that all is resourcefully. And...when you have the baby, make certain you have time for just the dog. Take a walk, step to the park, etc.
He has probably sensed something is different, Dogs are very understanding.

I doubt he doesn't love you anymore. He can probably sense you are pregnant and is giving you space, or he is taking up a guarding position at the end of your bed so he can protect you.
give him love ho,d hi love on him have a doggie day out
He knows that something is changing. He doesn't understand. Remember him even after the babe-in-arms comes. He more than likely will love the new addition as very well. Make sure that he has no reason to be envious or feel left out.
Answers:    Your dog knows you're pregnant and is adjusting his behavior accordingly. He's giving your space so you can be more comfortable. When you'll be a few months pregnant, believe me you'll be glad you won't hold to deal with a dog by your side, on top of it adjectives, no pun intended! Just turning around will become a challenge.
Your dog will never "not like you anymore". You have his eternal unconditional love.
im certain he loves u the same!!

spend a little extra time next to him. sit on the floor and pet him and remind him that u still love him
He's probably worrying that you will not pay abundantly of attention to him after the baby comes. I would suggest playing with him or taking a pace more often (unless you're having morning sickness)
good luck!
