Is it erudite to bring a dog while you are contained by uni ?

is it clever to get a dog once you are in uni but not living surrounded by uni quarters (are there more cons than pros) and how much does it cost to keep a dog for a month.

What are the official consequences of owning a dog without papers ?
I own two dogs, I am in university. I don't live on campus and I live about 15 mins absent from my school. My schedule this year gives me significant time to be with my dogs, I usually start at 1030 and finish about 230. Wednesdays I am done at 630 however and this hours of daylight is hard for all of us. It is hard to dog responsibility next to homework ones as the essays certainly do pile up eventually. You need to schedule your time and take into a routine with the dogs and with your school work so you won't topple behind with either of those things. It will also hold time away from socializing in school.
Perhaps you could cope next to a dog at present, however how will your dog cope when you get a full time job? Get real, you stipulation to love and care for a dog for the rest of it's life.

The cost of owning a dog is now horrendous. You cannot anticipate any vigour problems and the cost of veterinary treatment. If you are in rented accommodation you must also anticipate the damage that a dog will inflict on your landlords property. Your tenant will expect you to reimburse him for this and the other tenants will complain about the noise when you move out your dog alone.

If you are evicted, there are no landlords who welcome dogs, what will you do then?? Another dog dumped, please hang about until you settled in your own home and that you can pay for time care for a dog.
Answers:    Here's a list of "dog readiness" questions I use when someone asks:

1. Do you enjoy the money to take puppy to your veterinarian as soon as you get him, and afterward if he get sick, and for his shots? Estimated first-year expenses for the vet, food, and supplies are $1,500 (USD) not counting the cost of the dog.
2. Do you have all the equipment necessary? Bed, dish, collar, leash, crate or kennel, grooming brush, flea treatment, fastener clippers, toys, etc.? Do you know about the grooming requirements for your dog?
3. Are you able to schedule your time so your dog can be external (rain or shine!) for about 45 minutes of exercise, twice a day? (This means taking your dog out for a stride, not merely "letting him out." Will you be there for him around lunch time so your dog isn't left alone all daytime? What will you do if your dog bites someone?
4. Have you read any books on how to train a puppy? Do you know how to potty train him? How to walk, sit, down, come, stay? Will you be able to spend the time vital to train your dog? It may mean before or after school or work, and on weekends. Do you know how to socialize your dog?
5. Do you know how to nurture a dog of your breed choice? What to feed, how much, and how often?
6. Do you know what to look for in your dog's vigour so you know when to call the vet, and when you don't have to?

I don't mean to throw a drizzling blanket on your plans, but there's a lot of responsibility in raising a dog. Good Luck!

Forget getting a dog - once you get to University here will be so much going on you won't want to be tied down. You'll also struggle to find digs that would accept a dog and it won't be fair on the dog to be stuck at home adjectives day while you are out at Univ and then again at night because you are out beside your friends ... you may say you won't do that ... but you will.
Many college students own pets. If you have the time and money, why not? Simply being contained by college does not mean you do not have time for a dog, as homework/study load, credit hours, and time spent on campus rise and fall greatly for each person.

The cost will not be the same for every individual and their dog. Vet care costs depend on where you live and who you take your dog to. Cost of food, flea/worm prevention, and copious other things will depend on the size of the dog. Depending on the breed or mix you choose, you may end up spending close to nothing or quite a bit, and anywhere contained by between for grooming.

There are no legal consequences regarding papers. Papers don't matter at adjectives, unless you have a quality dog that you plan on showing.
Unless you mean license, which here in the states, the rabies vaccination is the only one required by imperative, and you must have the dog up to date in order to get a license from the county you live in.
I am guessing you are from Great Britain perhaps, so I am not aware of the laws about having a pet licensed there.
u dont stipulation papers to own a dog, u just need to get it chipped so whether you lose it they can find it, dog is a huge responsibilty make sure your prepred b4 u get 1 also vet bills are quite heffty aswell
