Is this an okay calendar for my beagle?
The beagle can sleep in a kennel in my basement (until it is trained after I will let it sleep wherever it wants). When I wake up at in the order of 7:15, I will feed the dog then let it external to do its business (or should I reverse that and let it outside earlier I feed it?). I will keep the dog in my underground store, where it has some (about 100 ft or less) area to run around while I be in motion to school, and return around 5:00. At 5:00 I shall take the dog for a 30-45 minute walk, later return home and feed the dog again and let it roam around my crypt (100 ft or less). I will play with the dog for another 45, then around 9:30 I will feed the dog, consent to it outside to do its business, back to the subterranean vault, than put it in the kennel at about 11:00 to go to bed. Keep within mind this is all before my dog is fully trained, once it is, it won’t own to just stay in the basement.
Would you close to to be in the basement that much?
How old is this Beagle?
I give somebody a lift it you don't mind if the basement become a dog toilet?
That sounds like a long, long time to leave a dog alone. And Beagles are known for howling when they are bored or distressed!
Answers: 1). pup should sleep surrounded by a crate in your room
2) Outside apon waking to potty before breakfast
3). Do not move off dog loose in basement,, will bark, and swot destructive behavior
4).. ROAMING the basement is NO LIFE for any dog.. and by keeping him in the basement , he is NOT human being trained
beagles are active hunting dogs,, if you are not going to run this dog don't get one.
don't take any dog and lock it in the basement
Firstly he/she will need more tolit outings whether you want to train it to go outside. As soon as you wake thieve dog straight out to do their bussieness & I used to give mine a short walk or run in the park earlier leaving for work/school. Then feed & take out again right in the past you leave. He/she really needs to get out at smallest once if not more in the time your away at institution to go to the tolit, it's a long time to exspect the dog to not go from say 8am to 5pm. When you do capture home I would head straight for a off lesh park as the pup will hold been quite bored all daylight & spend a good hour with him/her. I would do 20min on lesh controled walk, 10 minutes on core obedance training[teaching recall & to sit & stay etc] & the other 30 minutes off lesh. The pup really will need a 20 min step before school also other wise he/she will jump stir crazy & rip up your basement. Also take out to tolit right before you shift to bed or even better get the person who is up the latest to thieve the pup out as well before they go to bed. Pups pee right after they wake up up & after they eat or drink & I make sure they carry a chanse to go out every 2 hrs or more if they are wetting inside. Of a hours of darkness I get up at the moment to let my 3mth Tibetan Mastiff out at midnight & then again at 5am of a daylight she is free to come & go as she pleases. We let her out at 8pm &10 pm of an evening & she is doing well , we reason we can start missing the midnight tolit break soon as the older they get the longer they can dangle on. When he/she is locked in the basement you need to supply good toys & change them around every couple of days. I would hide treats for him/her to dig out out, a frozed kong filled with peanut butter, a ball & a tuck toy tied to a door or someting simalar & other be on the look out for new stimulating toys for the pup so they don't get bored with matching toys day in & day out.
