My annoying dog bark too much. please aid?
everytime my husband enters the room she barks and growls...she was abused as a puppy from her preceding owner...we love her to death but she has this fear of guys, any man...whether my husband leaves the room and reenters 10 mins later she goes nuts! help!!
Talk to your dog. I know talking to your dog sounds a little weird but dogs enjoy been known to understand us humans.
Mine does the same piece if any man walks in she have a fit but if it is a woman she is fine. You just need to achieve on to him or her when it happens.

My dog is a black lab part husky mix but before I get her she was abused - kicked, smacked, etc. Her thing was running absent (that was more or less the husky part contained by her) or barking and growling when anyone entered the room besides me. What I did was detached her down, tell her things are okay, etc. and gave the person treats, food, toys that she like to give to her so she'd get the idea of 'Oh that person's nice.'
When a dog have had a traumatic experience like that, it takes time, and although it's annoying immediately, new memories can replace the old ones.
My dog (Blue - has one blue eye and one brown eye!) eventually get used to other people and now enjoys taking treats and one petted by the people she used to be so terrified of.
* Do not use water to spray at your dog! It's expect and just makes them frustrated and angry.
Give her some time to get used of have a gentle man near her. With time, bad memories can be faded absent.
Every time your dog barks, say NO and spray him near water from a squirt bottle. Make shure he also bonds with her by petting her and playing with her. I have the same problem and this really helped me.
