My dog have a puffed cheek?
My dog is a nine year old dachshund and I about 20 minutes ago (it's 6:30) found a puffy lump on the side of my dogs face. (Left cheek.) It looks resembling she has a tooth ache or something... I can't drive anywhere so I can't take her to the vet right in a minute... help?
Sounds like a bad tooth. If she have not had a dental within the last couple of years, it may be the problem. You can pass her some aspirin for the pain (NO Tylenol) and get her to your vet as soon as you can. If she has trouble ingestion, get the food nice a soupy for her.
Did you try looking in his mouth? A sudden lump sounds resembling a bug or spider bite. An abscess wouldn't just appear , it takes a while to form. It might be an allergy to something. When you have a problem, vet can help. Wouldn't you want to do the best thing for your dog? Find another way to obtain to the vet if you don't drive, ask a friend.
Find a friend or neighbor to take you to the vet's office. You could also help yourself to a cab or the bus, there's always a way to catch there. If your regular vet is closed, you can go to an emergency clinic.
i had THE exact same problem.

thats really weird though..what a coincedence.
embezzle it to the vet, they'll help!
Answers: My old dog got that too. It be a bad tooth and we had to get it removed. Try to gain her to the vet as fast as you can but if you cant, dont give her dry dog food etc. it will hurt her even more! Use can dog food and dont let her chew on her toys either
Could it be having a allergic aversion to something. Bug bites, food, some chemical.
