My dog is immensely itchy (seasonal) but have freshly given birth ?

The vet has suggested a cream but the pups are not allowed to lick it (so no go) he also suggested i give her an anti inflammatory but a markedly mild dose (again as this might hurt the pups) But im worried either of these will hurt the little ones.
Can anyone give me an impression on how to sooth her? as she has taken off a lot of her chest and arm fur.
What is a dutiful technique for house...

I'd wait until after shes done nursing--No sense in risking it.

Try fish grease pills. They will not hurt the pups and will help her skin. You can also add a bit of cooking oil to her food. This will also not hurt the pups. Good luck.
