My dog is spitting up blood... Help?
She was fine, but then we let her external and now she is throwing up blood constantly... It started just a couple hours ago, and we plan on taking her to the vet tomorrow morning (it's 1:20am now) but we were wondering whether anyone had any ideas of what it could be... We tried reaching our fingers in her throat to see whether she was choking on something, but we didn't feel anything, and we gave her some bread surrounded by case there was something stuck further down... She ate that fine, so she still have an appetite. We just have no clue what it could be though... Any answers would be helpful. We hold 6 other dogs as well, so hopefully it's not something contagious... I'll check this again before we take her to the vet surrounded by the morning. Thanks all.
I personally wouldnt lurk until morning if it was my dog.. I'd be finding the nearest ER vet and getting my dog in to be see TONITE!
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! If your dog is throwing up blood constantly, she needs to go to the vet NOW, NOW, NOW! If you wait 'til morning to procure to a vet, you probably won't have a dog by then. Please get rotten the computer and take your dog to the vet. It sounds as though something may have ruptured internally. GO NOW!

now.
Just in case you don't understand. There are 24 hour Vets (look within the yellowpages) take her there now.
Why are you still here...
Take her at hand now.
Answers: Is she "spitting it up" or "throwing it up"? If she is throwing it up, it's an emergency. It could be anything from a tear in her esophagus to a ruptured spot. A dog can bleed it's entire blood supply into it's stomach but may only vomit up a small amount of it, thus making the owner think there's much less bleeding going on than what really is. If she's "spitting it up" I'm inclined to conjecture she may have broken a tooth or bit her tongue. The blood in her mouth will cause hypersalivation and, when mixed beside the saliva, will appear to be a larger volume of blood than it actually is. I really think, either method, you should take her on in to an emergency clinic. Even if it IS only a lacerated tongue, since the tongue is very vascular, she can lose quite a big amount and can even accidentally aspirate some of the blood. Good luck.
GO TO THE VET NOW!
