My rat terrier simply recently had a urinary tract infection. Don't give your dog anything since speaking to your vet. She needs some antibiotics like Clovamax as soon as possible so it doesn't turn into something more serious. Our vet also changed my dogs diet.
Cranberry liquid does not cure urinary tract infections, he will need medication, however it will prevet future ones from re-ocurring. the best you can do is keep it drinking lots of liquid. If you have any aspirin in the house you can give it 1/4-1/2 of a piece to abet it with the pain. Aspirin is not toxic to dogs, however never give your dog tylenol or advil.
Answers: I would be cautious in giving my dog any supplements or juice etc., as some "human" food can be more lethal than helpful to pets. You can give your dog an aspirin to help beside the pain though. Make sure she has plenty to drink.
Cranberry juice. Seriously -- it's used within treating urinary tract infections. If you can't get the dog to drink the juice, get some cranberry liquid pills.
