Okay can a dog sense your stress and procure physically sick over it?

My husband and I have been a little stressed over finances lately (you know beside the economy the way it is) and we had a heated discussion second night over it (no yelling or arguing but it was heated and we both be tense) I know my one dog feeds off my emotions and tend to stress out a bit when I stress out.this has happened like this one time past (also over a heated financial discussion)

But since last night she has acted really stressed out (and I am but I'm trying to make disappear it) her eyes got blood shot (which happens when she is stressed) and she has be a little sick to her tummy. She does this when she is upset. so my question is can they sense our stress and can it make them exploit physically sick.

I mean she is fine for the most part now I've calmed down rather a bit and I've been trying to go business as usual beside her.


But she was able to sense we were stressed.

If this is the casing how can we hide from her our occaisonal stress

yes they can if you argue put the dogs out of the room it may help
