Please Help! I am really alarmed for my puppy! If you don't Know the awnser dont awnser! Vets please?
My chihuahua puppy just got fixed, she is still on antibiotics. Lately she has be chewing at her pads. She started vomiting last night and when i woke up her frontage was swollen, her eye is red, and her throuht is also swollen I am really scared! She isitchingt here face! Is it an allergie? What is it? What should i do? Please minister to! 10pnts.
Sounds close to an allergic reaction. You can give her benadryl right now; it can be children's or adult's benadryl as long as it's only plain benadryl (diphenhydramine) and doesn't include other active ingredients that treat other symptoms. The correct dosage is 1 mg per lb of body weight (if she weigh 5 lbs, she can have 5 mg of benadryl) every 6-8 hours. If it's in liquid form, read the ingredients breed sure it does NOT contain alcohol.
Get her to the vet ASAP.
May I ask why she's on antibiotics?
If she newly got fixed then you need to hail as the vet and explain that the dog is having an allergic reaction to the anitbiotics. Stop giving the antibiotics and rush her into the vet, you could cause her to DIE whether she cannot breath for crying out loud. Since the vet prescribed this then it shouldn't cost you anything to take her surrounded by and have her seen.
Get off the computer and beckon your vet now. Don't ask a question like this, which demonstrably requires a vet visit, and expect us not to tell you to go to the vet.

chewing at her pads is probly just a tentative thing, or they could itch from the reaction. different dogs have different effects, and they could itch or burn from an allergy that she have to antibiotics.
but take her in to the vet, cuz that could shut her throat if its swollen, and besides, who wishes to swell and itch?!
I am no vet,but i advise you to see a vetenarian immedietly because if the throat is swollen it could close up and she will no longer be capable of breathe it could be an allergic reaction to the antibiotics and if u dont anna see a vet try benydryl it could work but i would contact a vetenarian first on the phone ask her about taking benydryl and she'll relate you if you should go and see a vetenarian,i hope i helped.and i truely hope your dogs ok. You need to take her to the vet, it sounds like she is have an allergic reaction to something.
There are no vets here, and any person could voice they were over the internet. How would you even know?
Don't give your dog any human medications whether you are not instructed to by your vet. Wrong dosages can kill your dog.
This is nothing to play around beside, money or no money get her to the vet..now! Also stop giving Benedryl...NEVER EVER give a medication to a dog in need consent from your vet! Benedryl is considered safe in amny cases but not in adjectives..you could be causing a lot more problems.
Okay she is having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. What you need to do is try to capture her to eat so that she can get it out of her system. If she will not eat any of her dog food try giving her resembling a piece of cheese or meat. Then after she eats give her a childrens benedryl. Good Luck!

That could be an allergic reaction to something, you obligation to take her to the vet because if she is allergic to the antibiotics and you keep giving them she could be in motion into full shock and possibly die. Call your vet and make an appointment
i'm sorry but do something about it don't wait for an answer on yahoo there's millions of other questions out nearby take her to the vet even if somebody answers your not a vet so you can't do anything about it. Take her to the vet ASAP! dogs return with infection s & allergies just like humans do. She might be allergic to whatever medication she be using
