Training New Puppy on Pad?

My new puppy is going to be trained on a pad but hes doing okay with his peeing on it but does any one hold any suggestions to help me train him. My other dog is also Pad-Trained and he was a very in a hurry learning and is a pro =]. Thanks in advanced.

P.S. I have tried crate training so dont propose it. also i was wondering if someone could tell me how to formulate him stop crying if no one is in the room or why he crys within his crate. wondering of the reason is because hes used to sleeping with one other dog and prefers to sleep in my bed.

Answers:    Yes he misses his litter mate, let him sleep with your older dog. The elder dog could help train him too. Crate training is the best way but you don't want to hear that. Good Luck!
