What breed of dog is this?

Male.
seven months old.
46 lb.
Curly cropped tail.
Very thick coat.

What is your opinion?
I'd say he's a german shephard/rottweiler mix. Once he outgrows the puppy stage he's going to be a great dog.
He looks an awful lot approaching a black and tan Shiba Inu. Maybe a mix of that.

My other guess would be Pit Bull/ German Shepherd
Answers:    all right it might be a german shepherd husky cross:
http://www.franklincountyohio.gov/commis...

or he could even be a rottweiler german shepherd cross:
http://www.dogfriendly.com/server/genera... not a great pics but you can see where im going!

he could be a german shepherd akita mix:
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/images17/Aki...

so im not sure but you never know he may not be half and partly, he may be part husky, rottweiler, g shepherd AND akit, beautiful puppy though ;)

EDIT: here's an Australian kelpie by the way:
http://www.rarebreed.com/breeds/kelpie/a...

so that other answer might hold a point, it could be crossed with an akita because your pup is definitely chunkier!
Actually your all wrong. It's an Australian Kelpie mix. No dog has a "Cropped" Tail by the track. You mean "Docked" tail. The dog has natural "Cropped" Ears.
it either a german shepard mix..or a full breed german shepard.
Awww hes VERY cute. He looks like a German Shepard mixed with possibly a lab. idk, but you can definitely see the german shepard.
Oo interesting... I want to speak an Akita mix. Perhaps Akita mix... Rottie? Akita mix Shepherd?

The cat is also a lovely marble tabby, very pretty!
He looks like partly doberman, part German shepard, part Alaskan malamute or Akita.
A mix breed.
looks similar to a black and brown shiba inu to me, see my brown shiba inu in my sig
It's a mutt/mongrel.
German Shepard mixed with Husky or Akita
I agree with the kelpie. But to the poster named I'm a blackfool dogs don't own naturally "cropped" ears they are naturally erect. Make sure when you right someone that you also get it right.
I would say Shepherd/Rottie mix
What are some fitting name for a bulldog?   Can you register a dog whether the parents aren't registered?   How can I train my dog to travel jog next to me?   How do you train 2 small dogs not to verbs when they are man walk. ?
