What can I do going on for neighbors other going away messages on my doorstep give or take a few my dogs?

I own two small dogs that I leave outside when I go to work or when I'm at conservatory. I have this one neighbor that keeps leaving me post in my door saying that I'm a bad owner and that my dogs yap nonstop. She thinks that I leave my dogs external the whole day, but the most that they stay out is for 1 hour until my sister gets posterior from school and takes them inside. Also, my dogs bark at strangers that happen to pass by our house or if they hear the sound of sirens. I reckon I know which neighbor it is, but I dont know if i should make a move. I've written a letter to her as resourcefully, but i dont know if i should give it to her.
Forget the letter, your neighbors shouldn't be disturbed by barking.

Get some "bark collars" for your dogs. They variety a small electric shock correction that is adjustible for the stubbornness of your dog. Try it on yourself. They're not painful or bad. It's in the order of like putting a rubber band on your wrist ,and giving yourself a little snap for snacking too much, smoking or cussing. It's only a correction.

It won't zap them for a short threat BARK BARK, that someone is too close to your gate... the collars know the difference. But the hoowwwl at sirens.or the bark bark yap bark bark from boredom or unspent energy, or because a dog means of access in the distance is barking, will stop.
Seems your neighbor also posted her complaints here nearer this week. Sounds like the same situation. She was asking how she could bar the matter, that she had already put some notes on your door. Most of the responses suggested that she report a complaint with your community's Animal Control office and have the dogs removed for disturbing the peace.
Why write a letter to anyone. Obviously, your neighbours don't appreciate the uproar that your dogs make.

Do something about that! Be responsible and quiet down your dogs.
Your neighbour is right you are being a irresponsible dog owner.
I doubt your only leaving them for an hour at a time whether it is while you are at school and work. Consider leaving them in a crate or a gated nouns in your home. They are much safer that way besides and you walk away looking like the suitable guy.
You're lucky your neighbor is leaving you notes so far and didn't just lunge straight to phoning the police and animal control!

Nuisance barking is illegal in most areas and that includes any bark that goes on for more than a minute OR totals 5 minutes within an hour (and yes, animal control officers will sit and use a timer- and whether your dogs bark at strangers you just LOST).

Your dogs must have access to wet and some form of shelter if they are left outside unattended at ANY TIME.

Keep your dogs within the house when you leave. If necessary, crate them.

Your neighbor should NOT have to listen to your dogs- EVER!
Letter writing is so juvenile and cowardly. What, are you both in second grade? Knock on your neighbors door, and hold a polite discussion. Face to face communication is powerful.

Do your dogs get adequate exercise and training? That will probably relieve with the barking.
i live in a plat and have one small dog. she doesn't go external without me as we have a hawk in the neighborhood that snatches small dogs.
also bored kids could appropriate them and do whatever.
so much could go wrong even in one hour.
bear your dogs out for morning break and exercise than leave in until your sister gets domestic.

you might not hold any choice but to keep them inside as this can be considered nuissance barking and you can be issued a ticket for it.
chance is to train your dogs to go outside in morning in the past you go to work for bathroom break.Leave dogs inside.when you get home its time for subsequent bathroom break. They adapt real well to this rota.At first you might have a few accidents but easily cured.
I wouldn't verbs about your neighbor.Sticking a letter on your door telling you your a desperate owner-bad taste.Next time you see them tell them in personality your trying to solve the problem.
It is your responsibility...you don't want her reporting you. I would consider socializing your dogs more so they can be familiar with other people and dogs. also exercising them more. You do requirement to deter your dogs barking...consider crating them until you get home...put a blanket over the crate and enjoy something that smells like you in there as in good health.

I've heard bad stories of people poisoning dogs inflict they were excessive barkers...you do have to respect your neighbor's wishes.

You need to own some ability in stopping your dogs from barking. Look into clicker training as okay.http://www.clickertraining.com/

Stop leaving them external where they can annoy the neighbors.
Is it possible that since you are not home during these times, that you are not fully aware stale just how much your little dogs are barking? Is it possible that your neighbor tried knocking first to inform you to your face and you weren't home? Is it possible that between you and your sister you may not be calculating the time the dogs are out barking? I don't believe it make you a bad pet owner. I do however feel that if your neighbor have informed you (even if her approach was not the best) that your dogs are barking the unbroken time you are out and that it is disturbing for her/him it makes you an inconsiderate neighbor. I have be on both sides of this issue. Good luck, be considerate and compromise by having your dogs spend less time external.
Answers:    I agree with your neighbors lol. At lowest they're sending letters rather than reporting you to the authorities for your dogs' barking.

The dogs should not be disappeared outside unattended, for a variety of reasons, even whether for a short period of time; your dogs are not only disrupting the neighborhood with their bark, which in some places is illegal, but they are a target for cruelty and predators, especially concerning their size.

Why don't you hold them inside when no one is home? Do you have crates? Can you not designate a dog-proofed room for them? If the time not a soul is home is not for very long, then I cannot recognize why you are unable to find an alternative to leaving them outside.
Just slight ignorance, I always say. You could always transport the dogs for obedience training to curb some of the barking. Exercising them more might help.

I own people in my area that close to to do things like set up cat traps and call By-Law Enforcement for barking dogs. If you haven't gotten a fine but, I'm pretty sure you're ok.

However, I digress. The underlying issue here is that some self-righteous neighbour has taken it upon themselves to be uninformed and accusatory. Buy yourself a door cam and catch the harassment in the conduct yourself. Let them know that if it continues, you'll take it to the police.

Hell, even a fake door cam might do the trick whether you don't want to shell out the 200.
