What is a BYB i only want to know?
I had this in some of my answers and want to know.
BackYardBreeder - someone who breeds their pets and doesn't have a clue what they are doing.
Lots of them ask breeding questions here, approaching "how do I know if my dog is pregnant" or "when will she have puppies".
Backyard breeder: A individual who casually breeds purebred dogs with little or no regard to the breed standard, genetically related defects or temperament.
An owner whose pet may have an unplanned litter by accident, or who breeds purposeful. Common reasons cited include: making extra money, mistakenly believing every dog should have a litter, letting the children witness "the miracle of birth," or because they feel their dog would make cute puppies. The animals involved are generally not tested for health or genetic problems, and typically within is no thought to where the puppies will go. They are the single greatest cause of pet overpopulation. Many are sold locally through weekly ads.

Answers: A backyard breeder - someone who breeds pet quality dogs only for the money without doing any health testing on the dogs, doesn't fastidiousness whether the temperaments are good, doesn't know how to properly care for a pregnant ** or the litter, and doesn't know anything just about ensuring they go to the right home.
