What is a fitting dog breed that is to say small.?

heyy I am looking for a small dog that is good for children. I also want a dog that you can carry around and dress up . It must be underneath 7 pounds and 9 inches. Must be cute <3

Why does it have to be under 7lbs and 9 inches. What are you planning on doing? Carrying it surrounded by your purse? Dogs are not toys, you don't dress them up. Buy a baby doll, dress it up and carry it in your purse, and I'm certain the kids will love it too. Please don't get a dog!

Dog's are not rage accessories they don't need to be carried in a purse, or dressed up. 9 inches is VERY small, even for some of the smallest dogs.

Please, please Please, do not purchase a "teacup" dog! They are poorly breed runts!

I would speak a basset hound but it wont be under 7 lbs...I would read on about small breed dogs..Try the akc website. You cant just go and get a dog because its cute...Theres alot more than just cute believe me.

It sounds approaching you are looking for a toy for you and your kids. Get a stuffed animal. You do not sound like you are ready for a dog. Most small dogs surrounded by those size specs are fragile and can't tolerate young children pulling at their tails and limbs.
