What is a worthy age to start my exotic puppy at puppy institution?
I just got a new puppy in the order of 2 days ago. She just turned 9 weeks old yesterday. She is doing very accurate with everything! I just would like to own some ideas on what is a good age to start her in puppy academy?

After all puppy shots are complete nearly 4 mo old, is the best time to start socializing and basic obedience, puppies single have a learning span of 10-15min at a time. Even now at 9 wks, you can guide the basics while house training, when your pup comes in from doing it's business, hold a treat jar by the door, have pup sit and give a treat while praising it for being such a dutiful puppy, wipe the paws and give another small treat, praise again.. Most classes won't appropriate them until they've had their Rabies shot, so around 4 months.
Register now though for an upcoming class, they normally fill up quick.
As soon as she have all of her shots, she is ready to be out with other dogs, and enrol in puppy school! Until then, you can start training basic commands at home!

I like to teach a puppy to sit and stay(wait) whenever you feed them and put the bowl down - its manners and you don't enjoy a dog jumping up on you in excitement when feeding.

Most puppy schools over here take pups between 8 and 16 weeks and they are held at the vet. Proof of at least the first vaccination is required. The vets don't consent to any dogs into puppy class if they have have no vaccinations. You don't need to wait until adjectives vaccinations have been done.
