What is a appropriate type of dog to be exact correct near dignified and low altitudes?
im going to get a dog and i need to know what kind of dog will be ok next to switching between altitudes at colorado and to altitudes in california. i dont need to worry to much more or less fleas and tics in colorado but in california i do. what dog will also be good near cats?
Huskies and Collies, they do shed a lot, and nearly any dog can be good with cats if you train them as puppies =]]

as for getting along with cats-
they just entail to be introduced
a puppy is a better bet as they will not know any difference and probably get along easier or quicker
shelter dogs usually are also good next to cats- not sure why
