What is a angelic breed of dog to grasp that will be polite around little kids?
The kids are all under 5 years (4children total) i know that labs and retrievers are good to own but are there any others?
A minature labadoodle! There friendly and small. Look them up online for more info!
Don't base it rotten the breed. People put a false sense of security into "family dogs" but they are just as imagined to bite as any dog. The best way to find a family dog is to visit your local shelter or a reputable breeder (not a backyard breeder or puppy mill owner.) Local shelters and most reputable breeders do temperment trialling to determine which families each dog is best suited for. They will know which dogs get along near children, tolorate loud noises, if they are food, toy, or kennel protective or if they require special requirements. They will also work with you to transition and train your new dog. Pet stores, backyard breeders, and puppy mills do not do this and often do not own a return policy if things don't work out. Another thing you want to consider is how much activity the dog will recieve. Obviously whether you don't have a lot of time to dedicate to exercising a dog consequently one such as a golden retriever or border collie would not be a good choice. Dogs that do not have their needs and drives met are more probable to act out frustration by biting or growling. Any breed can be equally as great with kids and the next. It's only a matter of how you raise it.
bulldog.
um you heard wrong.
Staffys and APBT be bred for bull and bear baiting along with dog warfare, but are fantastic family dogs. I've had 3 staffy mixes and several other mixes, the staffys be by far the best. They're not that great with other animals due too their history though, but can be trained.
Newfoundlands are just great big teddy bear, same with Saint Bernards. They do slobber and drool, but not as much as people let on. You lately have too carry a towel or something around with you. :)
yes labs and retrievers are really good family pets. i would take heed of what you get. small dogs are always really hyper harder to train and can become aggressive. i would definitely turn with lab or retriever. sorry i cant think of any other breeds. maybe a german short-haired pointer. i grew up beside one. we got her wen i was 7 and she is a good loyal companion who i love to release! when you decide what you want if its something other than a lab or retriever spawn sure you research the temperament.
good luck!!
I had a mutt that was the best dog ever around my child. He was part of a set German Shepard and part husky. My son was little at the time. He could grab the dogs tail, verbs on his fur, chase him around, try to ride on his back, the dog didnt care. When he played with my kid, he didnt play rough. My son would be out within the yard playing with hotwheels and dump trucks and the dog would lay nearby making certain my son didnt leave his sight.
It really doesnt matter so much on the breed. Even a biddable family dog can have problems with children. It happen. In my experience, get the dog as a puppy. Dont leave the children unsupervised with a dog. If you are mortal responsible and making sure the children arent being mean to the dog, afterwards there is a better chance that the dog wont get angry and snap. It can come up with any dog regardless of the breed.
all right we have a cokerspaniel/poodle mix hes pretts good around little kids but hes kinda jumpy so you could google that or step to ask.com thats ALL i got hope it helps
Maltese are really sweet but they are a small dog so it depends on how gentle your kids would be. Saint Bernards or Great Danes are peaceable gaints. They will tolerate just about anything and are so nice and sweet. The only fruitless thing about St. Bernards is tat THEY DROOL a lot. Hope I could lend a hand! If all else fails Golden Retriever are wonderful!
Staffs are supposed to be the best dogs you can get with kids according to the kennel club
everyone says the best type of dog to draw from that is good with kids is a blah blah blah but within reality any type of dog you get will be a kid friendly dog as long as you train it right and dont teach it to be a imply dog
Yeah definitely Labradoodle.
I own a medium sized girl. She's absolutely adorable and has appropriate traits from both her breeds.
They are very playful, obedient, they don't shed hair, and they're great for people with allergies.
you heard wrong asshole bulldogs,American bulldogs,American pitbull terriers, boxers and staffys are the nicest dogs ever u need 2 tutor yourself ya damn dog racist those dogs would die to protect your kids
Answers: I had a golden retriever, they are GREAT dogs!
A pug. They are great with kids and are not that rough.Pugs are really playful and curious.
Beagle, Foxhound, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Shepherds, Pit Bull, Corgis
it really doesn't matter as long as you win it as a puppy and let it be around them a lot
Staffys, let them grow up together
They are great familly dogs, most vet actually reccommend them as familly dogs.
You will need to get a puppy though, alot of elder dogs especially if they havent been around kids will try push for you attention and wont realise that the kids are human too.
Staffys are great dogs, i enjoy two, A blue staffy and a tan and white i love mine to bits and trust them with all my heart.
Collie, Golden Retriever, Shih Tzu, Chihuahua, dalmatian

A Golden Retriever iz apt.
As an owner of more than 20 different breeds over my time time , I can tell you that picking the dog completely off the breed isn't a great idea. You hold to raise the dog the way you choose, but some breeds may have a reputation next to children. Some of these breeds include: The Brittany, The Shetland Sheepdog, The Collie (Rough, Border, or Bearded), The Sussex Spaniel, The Bloodhound, Australian Shepard, The Beagle, The Cocker Spaniels ( American and English), The Bernese Mountain Dog, The Samoyed, The Newfoundland, The Basset Hound, The American Eskimo Breeds, The Bichon Frise, The Pug and The Great Dane.
