What type of dog would be upright, doesnt shed, and stays tremendously small(think purse size) besides a chiwawa?
A teacup or a miniature poodle they never shed and this is stupid but if you train them to swim they won't win their har all in the water and their coats are in truth waterproof!
Hope I helped
The whole concept of a teacup dog is not only a myth

it is a sign that breeders are not gentle about the genetic lines of the dogs they are breeding. Putting a small runt with another small runt to hopefully make a litter of unwholesome small runt dogs is no good for the dogs health.
A dog is not a fashion supplement! Putting one into a handbag can cause severe overheating and can kill a dog very in the blink of an eye! All dogs have legs and need to use them! Even the tiny breeds need to own a walk everyday both for their physical health and for mental stimulation.
Buying animals from pet shops perpetuates the Puppy Mills and you will not be guaranteed of buying a healthy dog.
Contact a flawless breeder in your area and check out the breed standards for whichever dog you choose and understand what the run of the mill size expectations for that breed is. Buying from a breeder means you will get a health guarantee and will receive support throughout the enthusiasm of your future dog. Most pet shops dogs are more expensive than if you bought them from a good breeder.
Please conjecture about the reasons why you are wanting a very small dog. Unlike you loads and clothes your dog will live a longtime and need to be cared for with vet visit and a good feeding regime. What will you do with you dog when the together fad or fashion of having a dog contained by your handbag is over?
Answers: Toy Poodle. I have one of these dogs and she is great. They're not very masculine dogs though... but they attract plentifully of chicks!
Toy poodles are one of the few dogs who are non alergenic. I have sever algeries to dogs and cats, and I choose my dog for this reason alone. Also, toy poodles don't shed, and they stay relativly small. Mine is 7 1/2 pounds.
They are also one of THE SMARTEST dog breeds. Mine built a (relatively unsophesicated) stairset composed of pillows and stuffed animals when she was 12 weeks outmoded so she could jump up on the couch to be with me.
Sorry whether this answer sounds biased, or just a giant rave. It's true for the poodle breed, they're great dogs.
Well I was just be at my local PetSmart and I saw a Chiwawa/Maltiease mix, she was very small with a short coat. I would sugguest going to your local shelter and asking your question to a worker there.
Chinese Crested. There are two versions.receding, and powder puff. Average no more than 10 pounds.
Yorkshire Terrier. Toy poodle.
Dogs are not meant to be carried in purses all morning, they have legs.
Please don't listen to the people who are telling you to buy Teacup dogs or designer breeds close to maltipoos!! Teacups are nothing my sickly runts that come from Puppy mills and Bybs. http://www.barkrescue.net/teacup.htm
Designer breeds are nothing but exspensive poorly bred mutts that also come from irresponsible breeders and puppy mills. No reputable breeder would EVER sell a MUTT!
Try looking surrounded by your local shelter, rescue center, or www.petfinder.com.
Here are toy breeds that are ACTUALLY a part of the AKC
